This has probabaly been around the forums already (or maybe not?)

I'm just wondering why Bioware didn't make this an actual option in the game. Would it have been so hard?

I can see this happening with a FemShep very easily along with the romance dialogue that takes place between Miranda and a male Shepard. Same with Jack, and even Tali. I just don't understand how Bioware can stand by the idea that "there were no lesbian romances in ME1" when we clearly had Liara, and then not give at least a bi option to both male and female Shepards in ME2.

I'm trying not to whine, because I think the romances they did give us were satisfying (more so for the men than the women however, but thats not new), but it's just after seeing that scene with a female Shepard, I don't see why it wouldnt have worked within the game.

Also, just in case anyone brings up the fact that Shep picks Miranda up off of the console, I'm 5'4" and I weigh 120 pounds and I've picked up girls a whole head taller than me like that, and I'm not even a super space Marine whos been rebuilt by a well funded secret orginization...Just saying.

:P

Just saw that myself last night actually...oh my!

FenWhen Miranda takes Shep to the floor it takes it to a whole new level of smexiness compared to mshep even though it's the exact same scene.

Agreed, would have been a great romance for FemShep I thought. :P

I seriously hope BW doesnt start giving fan service to the "gay" community. Seriously, (Asari aside and talking about RL anyway.) had nature intended for Humans to be "gay" they would have made it so that we can reproduce Asexually like the Asari. But, seeing as how (aside from adoption or artificial insemination) nature doesnt work that way, it makes homosexuality "wrong" from a nature standpoint.

You do realise that this asinine argument also makes sex for pleasure "wrong" too?
By the way, curing an infection with antibiotics is also "wrong" from a nature standpoint.

Sorry, but this thread isnt about weather you think homosexuality is right or wrong. Lets keep that sort of talk out of this thread, yes? Thank you.

okay, might be a bit off-topic but, how did you get that outfit for your fem-Shep? I have a mod installed that gives access to every outfit (at least i thought so), but that one is not in it.

Yeah.

I seriously hope BW doesn't start giving fan service to the "science" community, either. Seriously, had nature intended for humans to be "space faring" they would have made it so we could fly and survive in a vacuum. But, seeing as how nature doesn't work that way, it makes space faring "wrong" from a nature standpoint.

It's not really about how hard the option would have been to make. It's more that not every character who you can romance is bisexual. It would start to get silly if that was the case.

lol, I have no idea, it's not my video.

If they could mod in a lesbian romance though, I dont see why they couldnt mod in a new outfit for femShep.

Pretty steamy stuff. They just need to throw in Leliana from Dragon Age and you have yourself a veritable scorcher.

No offence intended here, but maybe... because unlike a certain Yeoman Kelly Chambers, Miranda isn't bi-sexual or lesbian? Ever thought of that reason? Or do you consider all party members/NPCs as just objects rather than characters whom might have a preference if we were to 'flesh' them out so to speak?

That all being said, I would imagine this would be Joker's reaction to seeing that scene

When she picks Miranda up the leverage looks wrong. When male shep picks her up her legs are wrapped around his pelvis. When fem shep does it Mirandas legs are wrapped around her torso. Its easy to pick someone up when they are straddling your pelvis because it puts all the weight on your legs. Not so easy if they are straddling your upper chest because all the weight is on your back.

Or maybe I just have a bad back?

It's not that hard, I've done it with a save editor and changing gender in specific conversations to move the romance along.
By the way there is no dialog like there was in ME1 for FemShep/Ashley and ManShep/Kaidan. For the bit before this scene for instance you end up with FemShep talking with no voice, or talking with Mark Meer's voice.
Weird.

Well, these are computer generated people in a video game, why not make them a romance option for everyone?

I know this idea really bothers some people, but why? Can't you just enjoy them as a romance in your game, without worrying about weather or not someone else is romancing them as a woman/man in their game? Do you think I was bothered by the fact that there were male Shepards who romanced Liara while I romanced her as a woman? No, it's their game, I don't care.

I understand them wanting to write a solid character, and they did, with all of the squadmates. However, a persons sexuality doesnt define who they are, so I don't see how making characters an option for both sexes undermines their character somehow.

I dunno, I could see Miranda batting for both teams.  I don't think it would be out of character for her at all.
