No offence intended here, but maybe... because unlike a certain Yeoman Kelly Chambers, Miranda isn't bi-sexual or lesbian? Ever thought of that reason? Or do you consider all party members/NPCs as just objects rather than characters whom might have a preference if we were to 'flesh' them out so to speak?
I hate to break it to you but Miranda isn't a real person, her preferences are whatever the writers give her.
I don't see why it would be that hard to make her, or hell Jacob or Tali or Garrus or *through teeth* Thane bi-curious at least.
I've always thought we all are, to a certain extent.

I really don't know why Bioware didnt do this. Preassure from the media? Homophobia? Lack of time? I would really like to think it's none of those, since I doubt you guys are homophobic based on your previous games, and I doubt you care about the media since you had gay elf sex in Dragon age, so why? I don't get it.

Writer created Miranda as straight sex, if you can't understand that, then I guess you really are stupid. Not every woman in the world is bi-sexual, thus in a piece of fiction not everyone in that world is bi-sexual, deal with it!
As I pointed out, Kelly Chambers IS bi-sexual. This stupid F/F crap has already brought you nothing, so why do you think re-hashing it by showing off an editted version of the game where flags were altered is going to change anything.
You should read my post from earlier. A persons sexuality doesnt define them, and these arent real people.
Bioware could have very easily written a good character, and made them an option for both male and female Shepard's, not nessicarily "bisexual". And as for Kelly Chambers, she was cute, but that was hardly a romance. That was probabaly there as a way for Bioware to keep the F/F romance supporters quiet, but it was not a full romance, not even close.
Making Miranda or Jack or Tali romancable by women wouldnt undermine their character at all.

Seeing this post makes me think that some people have a serious problem that not everyone thinks like they do. I hate to break it to some of you all but some people are gay/lesbian, some are bisexual, and some are just plain straight. I don't understand why people can't except reality whether your gay, bisexual, or straight. Not everyone thinks the same way you do and arguing and spreading hate will not change that. Our culture claims its tolerant but the reality is we are all a bunch of hypocrites that don't want to except that other people think differently.
Jack mentions she was in bed with a guy and his girlfriend, but as she also turns down female Shepard pretty clearly stating she isn't into this particular angle i think it's safe to presume she didn't actually have sex there with the guy's gf. Just like two men in one bed with one woman don't automatically mean they're into one another.Cutlass Jack wrote...
Jack would make more sense as a bi-option since she actually does specifically mention having sex with both men and women.

Its been mentioned on the forums and in interviews. There was no pressure from any group. It was a choice made by the dev team as a whole to not include gay romances. We will never know why other than what Bioware tells us.

While it was a hot (femshep has a great ass, who knew?) If the writers intended for a character to be straight then that character should remain straight.
Not everyone is bisexual in the future as some people on this forum likes to think
Since it looks like Shepard in that video is wearing modded Miranda's outfit, that's technically Miranda's ass you get to see, twiceSphynx118 wrote...

Why would more varied romance options *for both genders* be crap?
