Yeah, maybe ME3 should have you play only as a Volus in a red and blue suit.
And all gameplay involves jumping over barrels and throwing hammers at gorillas.

Prefer this over a "gay" scene any day of the week lol...I even went out of my way every single time in DA:O to kill Zevran because I didnt want him in my party...So, as a compromise, as long as I can "kill" the "gay" character or just out right not recruit them in ME3, then by all means. Go ahead and let them add it but I seriously dont want the crap stuffed down my throat so I want that option to just not have that particular character at all.

Exactly. I don't see any harm in discussing it.
Discussing? No. No harm in that. Its what the threads always turn into though. Its all about the "Evil" fox news and the "evil" media making Bioware cut the scenes. The point is, nobody knows except the Bioware staff. And more than likely it will stay that way.
But the problem with these threads is they become a political flame war. With one side saying they hate gays and the other side saying those who don't agree with same-sex are ignorant and stupid. Obviously, not everyone is like that, but a good majority fall on those sides of the spectrum. That's why I don't like the discussions on it.
I don't agree with gay marriage but I shouldn't get called ignorant for believing that. Its the ultimate hypocracy. If you believe in homosexuality, fine. So be it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But to both sides, don't demonize the other side if you don't believe in what they do.

This is correct. Even Kasumi's files are in the game, i would be willing to bet all dialogue until ME3/major ME2 expansion are already done, with the content itself getting finished, bug tested, getting localized etc. It would be an incredible hassle to get those high ranking voice actors again, while such large quantiities of dialogue are probably done via contract throughout many days, not on an hourly rate, so they might as well get as many dialogues as possible.
In most game development studios, the people getting ahold and recording and working with voice do not work hand in hand with game developers, though I'm sure the guys at bioware work relatively closely.

I am a tolerant person tooth-be-told...And would seriously compromise on above said action. As long as the player has the "option" whether to recruit the character or not, I wouldnt have a problem with it because I could just bypass the character all together. Those that wanted to "persue" said character in question could get him/her. This way the "issue" isnt forced completely upon those that dont want to see it, and the option is there for those that do.

BioWare's cowing to the puritan media is blatantly obvious.
Let me repeat myself: Tasteful nudity in ME1 gave way to clothed dry-humping in ME2. Why? It looks silly. There was nothing wrong with ME1's scenes... oh except the media didn't like it. Now they're gone. Coincidence? Bite me.
And if BioWare cowed to that.. who knows what else they decided not to do based on media pressure and a desire to maximise sales in the American "sex = evil, violence and hardcore death = good!" market.

The same way you believe in the little choo choo that could, or your uncle who is trying to be the first astronaut to go to mars
encouragement
If your uncle is trying to go to uranus however, please, encouragement should not be the apt response.
Either way, I don't particularily care about gay in this game. I just want my talimance on femshep. If gays get a gay romance but I still don't have my talimance, I'm going to pretend to be a lesbian girl, make a new account, have everyone call me a pirate, and rant about why bioware is biased against lesbians, but not gays, and how they are all bigots (sound familiar?)
