I love it, i think it's the most "realistic" looking armor. The other armor types look like toys and don't really fit the ME universe.
I have never been a fan of super cool badass looking special armors in rpg's, i usually go for the standard armor types. To me it gives the feeling that it's the man inside the armor that makes the difference, not the magic armor.
So i would like to see more N7 type armor pieces in ME3, where more emphasis is put on the armor looking like something that most military operatives would wear rather than the armor simply looking cool or badass.
Does anyone else use the N7 armor over the other armors for the look and not just the helmet removal option?

I'd probably use anything else, if they actually used the Armor Segment System (A.S.S.). I completely understand what you're saying and I'd probably not use the "wild and crazy" Collector's armor. I do, however, absolutely loathe the N7 armor.
I love how it looks, I just hate the fact that it and other equipment have "N7" plastered everywhere. Why I'm still in Alliance uniform, despite not being part of the alliance anymore, I'll never know.

I don't like the N7 logo either (particularly cuz its all red...throws off a bunch of my armors personal color schemes).
I still wear it though.

Definitely more armour modules, I agree. It seems a rather odd mistake to make, when Bioware spend time to create a very novel customisation system... then leave it just with the stock armour pieces.
I'm quite satisfied with it, though. I keep changing the colour of the armour to match the planet I'm on. And that Garrus-esque Visor is coolness overload.

I love N7 armor... mainly because I don't have to wear a helmet with it. I would probably use the Cerberus armor if I could toggle off that hideous headgear.
@ the people pondering why the N7 logo is on the armor, have you noticed that Cerberus - a rogue black ops agency - also feels the need to plaster their logo over absolutely everything they make?

i prefer the looks of the N7 armour to the dlc stuff and the bonuses are better than the dlc stuff. the only dlc armour worth getting are the 3 free Dr Pepper helmets, all of which are really good (5% shields/5% wep dmg/5% power dmg)

I like the look of the N7 armor and the sets for the most part but I prefer the N7 armor because I can customize it and not be forced to wear a helmet. If they make it so you can remove the helmets on the sets then I would use them. Otherwise, I just used the Dr Pepper helmets and the weapons out of all the DLC stuff.

If it had the Cerberus logo it would make a lot more sense. I also like the Blood Dragon Armor though.
The Inferno Armor isn't too outlandish. It kind of fits the Engineer

Hmm, yeah i kind of agree with the logo part, but i hardly notice it anymore.
The cool thing is, now that i've finished the game once, i know exactly what to expect at every mission i got to, so i can customize accordingly.
In hub areas i wear no helmet, and black colour.
On Tuchanka, helmet on and desert camo
Zaeed's loyality mission, helmet on and forest camo
I think it's pretty awesome to play like that, better immersion, too bad squad mates outfits are so restricted.
I like Miranda, but can't bring her to many of the missions, id hate her to break a heel or something or get a twisted ankle.

PROTIP: Cerberus is former military. Former Alliance.
I love the N7 armor, I also use the Cerberus armor quite a bit makes me feel like Boba Fett and an intergalactic cop. :3

When I got my Inferno armor code I was hoping Shep would come out & say "I am Iron Man!".
