I love the line Eamon gives you when you try to get your Mabari to fight Loghain for your.

"No, we cannot leave the future of this nation up to your Mabari, any one any one with a half-eaten ham could buy him off."

Another one with Dog is during the Prison break, where you let Zevran handle the first line saying some along the line of "I'm talking this dog to the kennels". Then when the guards question him, and you select "Let Dog Handle this." he walks up to one of them and pees all over his leg, priceless.

I think it is the Actor that makes Alistair who is is. He has the perfect way to say the lines. It is just like Claudia Black does Morrigan and my favorate Anime hero Steve Blum does Ohgren and half the dwarf voices.

If you go to Haven with Sten, he thinks you are wasting your time. He asks if you're going to go in the opposite direction from the Archdemon until you circle around the world and attack him from the other side.

You can reply: "He'll never see it coming."

OMG I have SO got to take Sten the next time I go to Haven!

Steve Valentine (Alistair) is amazing. I loved him in Uncharted 2; he did the voice of Flynn. One of my favorite lines from that game is when Nathan Drake and Flynn are breaking into a building, and they're communicating through 2-way headsets. As Nathan is scaling the edge of a roof a guard walks up to the ledge; Flynn says “There’s a guy above you, there’s a guy above you.” As Nathan, you grab the guy and pull him over the ledge as you pull yourself up. Flynn says :“There’s a guy below you, there’s a guy below you.”
I crack up everytime.
I think my favorite DA line is Alistair before the Landsmeet:
Ali - Now we just have to stop Loghain from taking the throne
PC - He can't rule if he's dead
Ali - I heard that!
I love it cause it just took me by surprise

I agree.  I love even his standard "Alright, done with you now!"

I think Oghren gets some of the best one-liners, and best dialogue in general.  Oghren on the way to fighting the little dragon in the Brecilian Ruins:  "Anything that makes a turd bigger than you are is bound to be trouble."  And OMG, the absolute best has to be his response when you meet him on the way in to the Deep Roads and say (after he asks you if you've seen a Grey Warden around) "What does this Grey Warden look like?"  I don't know if it's the same dialogue with a male PC, but the response for the female PC is hilarious.

The best part of that is his delivery; the weary "Warden...no." It's like he's been putting up with this crap forever. It's very akin to the Duncan Sigh when Alistair talks about dancing the Remigold.

My favorite lines are actually my favorite because of the voice acting. Alistair's response to Shale when she's teasing him about being with the famale Warden is perfect: 

"So I guess a romance between you and I is completely out of the question."

And when Leliana confronts him about being a softie, the way Sten says "What are you talking about?", with that guilty-trying-to-be-casual-and-failing rise and fall, has entered it's way into my everyday conversation. It's wonderful.

I think my favorite line in the whole game comes from the banter where Wynne is teasing Alistair about his new "intimate relationship".

"Andraste's flaming sword, I know where babies come from!"  and the line after that, where his voice breaks as he's saying it "I certainly HOPE so!"

I laugh every time, and I've heard it about a million times already!

When my Mage asked the Templar if there were any other exits from the tower aside from the front door he replied something along the lines of:

"There are windows on the upper stories but I don't recommend using them. It never ends well"

Gotta love the practical advise of the pragmatists in this game.

I believe its 'The irony of this moment is not lost on me.' I love Sten's lines, all with that deadpan expression. Though I love when you give him his sword back and he smiles and says 'I'll be able to give the arishok a much better report if the Blight is defeated, no?' Its probably the only time he actually smiles.

There is conversation options to be rescued rather than breaking yourself out, then you get to pick 2 other companions to come to the rescue. Great fun. I'm still mixing up party members just for the fun of it.

Yes, that's correct. There is a lengthy pause before he  speaks. 

I'm not sure why, but that was both humerous and full of pathos at the same time.

I crack up at Oghren's attempt to tell a joke every time. The laughter...it's contagious, I tell you.

There's so many to pick from, many of which have already been mentioned. One of my personal favorites, though, is when you're romancing Leliana and you get to the confession conversation. If you choose to tease her about her saying she's comfortable around you, then backtracks and calls the situation awkward, she retorts with, "Don't question me! I am a woman and I reserve the right to be inconsistent!" Priceless.

its not funny, but everytime I am at Ostagar. I get the urge to go up to the Sergean talking to those soldiers about the genlock carcass and then repreatedly click on him to hear him say -



"Whoa! Dont touch the carcass. We will be burning it so it doesnt infect anything"

It keeps getting better.  When the prisoner tells you to use the key "in good health", Alistair says  "Considering where it came from, let's hope we're not the only ones in good health."  Yeah, I lose 1 approval with Alistair just to get him to say that line.    Well, the stuff in the chest is good too.  But that line is priceless.
