I've finished the game one time and now I'm on my way to finish it on hardcore.
I have a Sentinel so I did Samara's loyality mission and got Reave. So I did advanced trainining (There's an entire list of bonus power available to me) and chose Reave.

Then I went and did both Mordin and Grunt's loyality missions on Tuchanka. Went back to Normandy and chose Advanced Training in research to see what I got from Grunt and Mordin, but now I only have two power to chose from.
Fortification and Neural Shock - What the hell? Where did all my other bonus power go? Where did reave go???

interesting, must be a bug; i did everyones loyalty missions and i can choose everyones powers.

Must say though that it seems rather redundant for certain powers;

like barrier, fortification, geth shield all pretty much do the exact same thing and none of them stack with each other.

You can only have one bonus power.

You already have Reave.

You can change to Mordin's Neural Shock or Grunt's Fortification. If you switch to fort, next time you respec you can chose between Reave and and Neural Shock.

What's the issue?

[EDIT] unless I am misunderstanding. Did you do eveyone's loyalty missions and got only Reave Fortification and Neural Shock? Did you have all the other powers at one time (Warp Ammo, Geth Shield Boost etc...)? Could you clarify?

Biotic_Warlock - I am aware of that. The problem is that the list of Bonus Power you to to choose from have suddenly decreased to just two power for me. Before Grunt and Mordin's loyality missions I had several power to choose from (because I made loyality missions for some of my other crew member too) and after the missions I only have two.

I just tried loading a savegame I had, rushed through the mission went back on the normandy - Same problem

Nope. I tried that. Still one Fortification and Neural shock. It is stuck on theese two only even tho I have made several loyality missions.

Ah hrm ok sorry I did misunderstand then.

Never happened to me, always had all unlocked powers available. That's a lousy bug.

There are some other threads about this issue.

Experiencing the exact same problem.

Just had a thougth that might shed some light on this and what might have caused this bug: It might've happened because I completed two loyalty quests before returning to the Normandy. (Mordin and Grunt, both Tuchanka).

I did Mordin's first, and then Grunt's. Back on the Normandy again, only Grunt's power show in my list at the terminal.

Before this, I had 4 other powers to choose from. Maybe the game couldn't process two completed loyalty quests at once.

All team members for whom I've completed the quest are still loyal though, and they may use their unlocked abilities. All powers unlocked after Grunt&Mordin are in the list as they should.

Another thing: The achievments for those charachters I had gained loyalti with, before Grunt&Mordin, is still grey when reviewing my achievments.

It's a bug for sure. I know on the 360 you should have all unlocked abilities even before picking them up (ie second playthrough). Not sure why the game is doing that....

I did both without going back to the normandy and never had this problem

OK, so then there are more variables in this =)

It is really annoying though, for when I started my 2nd run and got to choose a special power, I can only choose the last 5 powers I unlocked, since the game has "forgotten" that I unlocked the others.

I'm having a similar problem. I Have completed almost all of the loyalty missions but when I choose the advanced training research it takes my 5000 eezo and then no window comes up. I just completed Jacobs loyalty mission to see if changed anything (since it is sort of the first one you would normally do, I think its the first misson you get.)

When I got back to the Normandy I tried to research it again and this time the window DID come up but the only available power was barrier (Jacob's bonus power) I tried restarting the game and then tried researching it again and now the window just does not come up again.

Does anyone know what's wrong or how I could fix this? anblom mentioned threads reguarding this issue but I haven't been able to find any. Could you link them for me?

Thanks.

You already made your own topic, why bother resurrecting another one?
