I'm not asking to market her or anything like that, I understand MaleShep is for marketing. However, for the last Mass Effect in Shepard's story, can FemShep please feel more distinct than MaleShep? Even in ME1 FemShep runs like a female, and her walk is very feminine and kinda sexy, but all of that was wiped in ME2 Image IPB  she runs like MaleShep, walks like him, and talks like him ( though I understand that Image IPB ).

Jennifer Hale does such a good job as FemShep, it would be good if she AND FemShep could get a little more attention. Like, what if you guys use Jennifer's face? She's beautiful, and her face is mature enough for FemShep to be modeled after. Also, how about more dialogue that differentiate MaleShep and FemShep? Lastly, how about giving FemShep ( or both Sheps for that matter ) clothing attire made for them?? It was awesome in ME2 that our armor was different from everyone else'........but then our clothes were just copied...and not even from the better color combinations. I saw my casual wear in colors that were WAAAAY better than the colors I got stuck with.  oh, one last thing, can FemShep look as sexy out of her armor as she does in it? I found it kinda weird for my Shep to have to put on armor to look sexier.....shouldn't it be the other way around? Now, her hips and her butt were a pretty nice shape in and out of armor, but her breast were different depending what she wore. That's why FemShep should have unique clothes, that way her clothing can be modeled for the body she has in her armor. That way it doesn't seem like FemShep has two bodies. Jennifer Hale would love to do more with FemShep, she said it herself, so if she can't be the market Shep, can she at least get some different lines and different movements from MaleShep?  I know I'm asking a bit more, but since this is the last game in Shepard's story, I thought I would ask Bioware to pay a bit more attention to Jennifer Hale and FemShep.

I love the game by the way!!! ( for those who will have something to say )

FemShep shouldn't be as strong, fast or intimidating as MaleShep either to be honest. More mocking insults because of her gender should also be included.

Oh and being constantly hit on as well unless she has the renegade markings. XD

YES!!! EXACTLY!!! In return there will be much more dialogue!! FemShep doesn't need to be as strong or intimidating as MaleShep. She should feel different, like a female Space Marine.....not a male one. That is my whole point. I'm glad someone agrees with me Image IPB

Yeah she should. But you'd get people complaining about lowering her stats compared to M!Shep's. <_<

Laughably enough some of those people are the ones screeching about her walking and moving the same as M!Shep.

I wasn't be sarcastic. Seriously I'm getting sick of all the complaing about how F!Shep =/= M!Shep when it suits the player. <_<

Oh she should run differently! And and dance differently! And have different mannerisms!

What? She shouldn't be weaker than M!Shep!11!!!

BAH. :pinched:

I'm not sure which side of the debate you are, frankly.

In my opinion FShep makes perfectly good show of being just as strong-willed and intimidating as MShep, and I see no reason why that should be changed. In most situations people react to the armour and the gun far more than the person underneath them, in any case. Female soldiers aren't uncommon in the Mass Effect universe, so people are too used to them to treat them differently.

Yes, that's what I don't get about a lot of people. A female Marine would NOT be as strong as a male Marine, MaleShep is actually pretty darn big compared to FemShep......a lot bigger. I don't think a lot of these people on the boards have ever seen a female Marine in person....not the way they're talking. I have quite a few Marine in my family, both male and female, and they are NOTHING alike.  The female Marines in my family, and my friends who are Marines, all like to look cute. They talk like women, they act like women, they're emotional, they joke and laugh and wear cute clothes. Heck, the get offended when people talk about them like they're not females.....I don't know how Bioware didn't see that?? I guess it's T.v....too much darn television.

I'm on the STFU about the walk animations already side. <_< Honestly I find F!Shep perfectly believable but this whining about how F!Shep is a female only when it suits their purposes a bit annoying.

Even if female soldiers aren't uncommon one would naturally find a larger bodied male more indimidating.

Still I never said she wasn't believeable just the her being believable as a solider while portraying sterotypical female wiles isn't. =] She should somehow have a typical woman's sway while holding 50+ pounds of armor and guns and be able to storm as fast as a M!Shep? Really? Really? I'm all for gender equality but there's times where it crosses the line into foolishness.

LOL. Though suggest that to the F!Shep fans (I'm one of them actually) and some of them start bugging out. <_<

You have to admit, her sprint animation is rather stiff. And I don't mean "unfeminine" - I mean "you can't run that fast while moving like that, whatever your gender is".

Even if female soldiers aren't uncommon one would naturally find a larger bodied male more indimidating.

It's not the size of the body - it's the size of the gun they're pointing at you. Trust me, woman can be just as intimidating as man, if they're packing the same firepower.

Still I never said she wasn't believeable just the her being believable as a solider while portraying sterotypical female wiles isn't.

Does not compute. Really, I have no idea what you're trying to say here. I'm not trying to mess with you or be sarcastic, I'm dead serious. Do you mean that a woman can't be believable as a soldier if she acts in feminine manner? Or that she should act more feminine despite of being a soldier?

It's not about who is stronger or more intinidating is it, it's about female gamers being able to enjoy the game that they have bought. It is a game after all. You know, entertainment.

Truth but that's across the board. M!Shep has a weird one too...I guess it just bugs me about the whole: "She should walk like a woman!" Like...uh...she doesn't do most things like a woman why would this be so deal breaking?

Yeah but headbutting a Krogan? Really?

No. I'm saying F!Shep isn't equal to M!Shep in ability. *shrugs* That just bugs me personally when people whine about her being M!Shep with boobs and only mention the fact that she walks like him without her being his equal in everything else. I love my F!Shep and I love the fact that she can kick as much as M!Shep. Doesn't make her anymore realistic though.

are you saying I'm whining?? If you are, I'm not. So many people just don't realize that it offends female Marines they talk about them like they're not females. Female Marines talk about that kinda stuff all the time. Males are naturally stronger than females, eveyone knows that.......at least they should. You would be surprised how many beautiful sexy women people see all the time, and don't even know they're a Marine. Nothing says you can't be sexy and strong at the same time. Also, nothing says a female has to be strong as a male to kick some butt. Shep doesn't use fist anyway,  Shep uses guns and biotic and tech powers. Physical strength has nothing to do with either of those Image IPB

Yeah but headbutting a Krogan? Really?

You remember those genetic modifications that every Alliance soldier gets, and cybernetic implants Shepard has? It's just as unrealistic for a guy without taking those into consideration. Wear a helmet if it makes you feel better.

No. I'm saying F!Shep isn't equal to M!Shep in ability.

Here we have to disagree. They very clearly are. What us there to debate about in this?

She shouldn't have to be feminine damnit.

Err...So she should be less capable, weaker, slower and otherwise less competent than MShep, but shouldn't be feminine? I'm really getting my mind boggled here.

Nothing really. We're not going to change each other's minds. :P

Doesn't help that the game seems catered to a M!Shep when you look at
responses to certain *actions* of NPCs that would personally affect a
F!Shep much more than a M!Shep.

I'm looking at you Jacob's Loyalty Quest. <_<

No I'm saying if one wants her to be feminine THEN she should be less capable. <_<

Granted I'm playing devil's advocate but yeah.

Edit: We're misunderstanding each other I think. I'm saying this for the whole: She should have wide swaying hips, perfect DDs and a tight ass with a sexier voice and be a sultry female with every attractive male she sees camp.

Being professional is unrealistic? Seriously, I had zero complaints about it, playing with FShep. What do you think she should do, get all emotional when she has an important, dangerous job to do?

Nope. So how exactly do you think she should act feminine in the same case? She's acting like a soldier. Not necessarily feminine or masculine. What is feminine consoling kids or something? Can a male Shep not do the same thing?

I really don't understand how F!Shep is supposed to act feminine.

Also, standard genetic augmentations to improve physical strength, stamina, reflexes for marines, and cybernetic augmentation at the Lazarus project. At the point where Shepard can fire the Widow or the  Claymore without breaking either arm, I  think quibbling over a female Shepard being as strong or as intimidating as a male Shepard is just being contrarian and ridiculous.
