@Mass Fraud--the bit about Sigrun being the last member of the Legion of the Dead doesn't make sense...of course, one of these articles called them the Legion of Death, so go figure.

Somewhere in game I remember reading that a company of the Legion would march into the Deep Roads together after their funerals, never to return. Kardol would appear to be the commander (or senior ranking officer surviving) from one company, while Sigrun may be the last survivor of a different company that had gotten further into the Deep Roads (Kal'Hirol, to be specific).

Just guessing, of course, but that makes sense to me and appears consistent. In my games, Kardol is always around fighting the Archdemon...

It may be a glitch or bug but I have never found Kardol fighting in the last battle or any of the major NPC characters in the game.

Anyway, Bioware needs to clear this up.

Well I have seen Kardol fighting in the last battle. Arl Eamon fights as does Irving. Maybe others.

Copying and pasting DG's comment on LotD in case any of you missed it.

Since it was asked: the entire Legion of the Dead is not gone.

Remember that the Legion of the Dead heads out into the Deep Roads on a regular basis -- and then fight until they all die. So they all die on a pretty regular basis. Essentially once enough dwarves become Legionairres  for there to be a full unit they head out and don't come back.

Not sure if it's the same voice, but she sounds a bit like Lanaya, the Dalish keeper in training.

Compare her voice to the voice of Morinth.

Isn't Pauley Perrete the goth chick from NCIS?

Is it just me or does Sigrun sound like a mellow Dagna?

...and if I were to get Awakening and import my main character we'd be two female dwarves with dual weapons. <_< Guess she could be Beathag's BFF to make up for the abscence of Leliana. We'll see. 2 companions to go.

I wonder if you played the dwarf commoner origin would you already know of her?

As in being in Origins? No. Not unless she's been called something else, crawling on the grounds of Dust Town, begging for money.

I'm very glad too see a rogue with deadly dedication, not every rogue has to be there for the comic relief value.

My first time through Dragon Age I played a female dwarf rogue. It was fantastic! I am so glad they picked this type of character for the Awakening.

OMG a female dwarf!

Is it confirmed she's a rogue? It seem deeply thematic to carry over the Armor of the Dead and give it to her.
