Was I the only one who expected the logo to fade in like the end of the earlier trailers (sun-reflecting planet and weird but totally awesome electronic bass noise), but was completely disappointed when it just popped up on a black screen?

It wasn't what I expected, but then again it was the most epic intro since BioShock so I won't complain.

yea, that struck me as odd....same when it comes up before the opening sequence. they had that awesome style of title in the first; but then after dropping my jaw as shepard drifted to his death...i instantly picked it back up and raised an eyebrow thinking "wheres my awesome rising glare reveal that wouldve been a perfect end to that moment?!".

yes i noticed, yes i thought it was rather uncreative, do i care about an issue present for about 5 seconds in a video game? not enough to make a thread about it

I would have love for that if the intro wasn't that shocking and exciting. I didn't care about it since the title does appears later, and the deep sound that sounds when it appears always gives me goosebumbs.

To this day I still think they should have done that. Would have made for a much more epic feel... They'd have to turn the planet around though. Guess they didn't bother with that in the end or something.
