I've had the Keening Blade, from some fight that I don't remember..lol.   Had it show up a couple times..just wasn't paying that much attention (as per usual)  hehe

I have played the game dozens of time, i finally got the fade wall. I like it better than duncans shield.

You get if after you kill Gazkang, but he doesnt always drop it, thats why i missed it.

BTW he is argueably harder to fight than a high dragon.

i found the high dragon easy if you have a mage with you

yeah sorry i just meant i use the mage to heal me constantly and let my hero do the fighting keeping my mage far away so not to die that just came out a bit blunt sorry again

cool cant wait to see how things go in awakening though i hope that the lack of romance option doesnt affect my dao story too much

Thats because of that danged miasma debuff he lands on your whole party..and it doesn't wear off.   So you think you're hitting him and what you are doing instead is....*miss* *miss* *miss*...meanwhile he's squashing you.

I finally got peed off and got two mages in my party and went and killed him   hehe

i havent ever found him to get the sword or that shield :{ i must be missing something



btw has anyone managed to find jowan after they let him go at redcliff coz all playthroughs and i've never found him again i was wondering if theres a bug in the game ?

Wow, I got the Keening Blade and the Fade Wall on my first attempt on my first playthrough on normal difficulty.

oh i just feel sorry for him and let him go but i never encounter him again i was hoping someone else had but hmmmmm maybe its a bug in the game :{

if you want a challenge send him into the fade to save Conner, its real hard.

I would give somebody a lot of props if they could do that on insanity mode.

true btw in the orzammar bit has anyone managed to complete the dead caste quest i have tried everything and it wont let me talk to the shaper of memories about it ?

I'm a little fuzzy on that one but i think you get the stuff to finish that quest before you fight the brood mother.

hmmmmm i thought i found all the stuff just before you go in to where the broodmother is but it still doesnt let you finish the quest

My only advice is to to a web search on it, or if you have the strategy guide look it up that way.

I let him go once, but searched all over after that..because he was listed in my quest log, never did find him.  I wonder what triggers that ....
