You see Fergus at the end of the game, during Post-Coronation.

Yes, I know, I've seen that a few times now. I meant in the expansion.:)

1. Keening Blade and Fade Wall can be found from a corpse of a demon lich thing during the side quest called "Unbound".

2. Yes you can run into again when traveling on the world map, very low chance but it is there. You will run into him traveling with a group of refugees where you can let him go again and finish him for good.

yeah she was very hypocritical and annoying always ramming the maker down my poor wardens throat i wanted to beable to tell her to shut up and choke lol

Did you use the dialogue options back at camp after her personal quest to persuade her to be herself and no longer shelter in all that chantry stuff? She rarely mentions the maker to my warden and then mostly just in the same way as other characters do. She still has a bit of religion in her; but that suits the ambience of the story.

Nor does she seem at all hypocritical to me. She sought shelter in all that religious Chantry stuff as a solace/escape from that part of her past where she was led into a life of assassination and intrigue and her betrayal, though she never really fits in to the Chantry. She is grateful when you persuade her to forget the Chantry, be herself and move on.

She tells some great stories too, and has some great descriptions of Orlais in her dialogue.

I think her story and personality are very good and she is definately a favourite of mine.

I would love an answer to my very simple question: to wit, how much space on the hard drive of a PC does Awakening take? I have cut things to the bone, and after adding the 20 gigs plus of Origins I have very little hard drive space left. If I can't add it, OK, I still have plenty of play left in Origins, and in both NWN games, for that matter. I would like to know whether I have room for Awakening or whether I must wait till later.

We are able to use RTO Dlc items ?

Phew finally a good set I can start with.

I was worried about my armor set when I start the Awakening but now I can use Cailan's armor at start. And Duncan's weapons ofc !

Thanks, Lady Jess. Do I really need 20 gigs left on my hard drive to download Awakening? I only have 16. Or do your specs apply to Dragon Age: Origins, which I have already installed, along with all other available downloads for that game?

Yes, Lady Jess, that's what the link you found seems to be saying. I did not believe the original game would take up 20 gigs but yes, it did! So I guess Awakenings is nearly the same size and I will have to uninstall Origins to install it, or get a bigger hard drive.

Thanks for your help!

No problem. I found the best solution when I had that problem with my old computer was getting an external hard drive, and moving all my pictures and music, oh and videos, etc on to it. I rarely even download anything but games to my C Drive these days.

Lady Jess, that sounds like just the thing. My pictures and music take up a lot of space on my hard drive. You've been very helpful!

haha i guess you are not fond of ohgren being in awakening.

The only thing ohgren will be doing in my party if i end up buying the expansion (unlikely at this point) will be cooking my food, washing my dirty clothes and generally staying the hell out of my way. I kicked him from my party in disgust every runthrough. Cant stand the disgusting uncouth lush...

Im all for getting happily sozzled after a traumatic day, but really... I've known enough people like that character to have absolutely no time for a virtual version of the same smelly loud inconsiderate anoyance...

Ehem... *takes a deep calming breath*  Im not fond of him being in awakening either lol

Amen! I spoke with him exactly ONCE, and was sickened by the "rump roast" comment, and I'm pretty darned hard to offend that way.  He's funny in small doses, but I never really thought he was worth keeping around past Branka.

I guess it says something about the voice actor, he's really believable lol. He did a convincing enough job that I found myself almost smelling the booze on his breath every time he spoke! *shudder* He doesn't seem to improve on getting to know him either, he just stays an annoying boozer.

At least Zev has some endearing redeeming qualities and a backstory that lets you forgive his more annoying habits :-)

Here's what I don't get. . . If you import a character that did the ultimate sacrifice does Awakening explain how they mysteriously came back to life or are they treated like it never happened? That's the one thing I'd really like to know.

I don't think we're meant to find that out until they day we do it. And that's ok with me. I made twin rogues, one made Alistair king, swore to rule beside him, and sacrificed herself, the other did the same but accepted the ritual.

Either people that speculate the silence on the subject is due to it being ignored when we import are right, OR it's going to be an amazing return and BW doesn't want to spoil it, since they have said relationships haven't ended, maybe there's going to be a reaction to your return. Who knows.

Edited to add: I'm actually pleased we can bring back a dead warden, and I'm hopeful it's going to lead to us finding out the ritual was unneccessary, and maybe even show us the price for choosing it.

We'll all find out in a couple weeks, what fun would it be to know before you play it really?

I know what I think would be awesome, I know what I'd LIKE to see, and I know what I see in my head, but noone knows, and I'm guessing we aren't going to know until it's released. I'd say check the forums in the first couple days post release, but how many people are going to actually post without getting hammered for posting spoilers?...lol

From what I read no they don't you just appear there like you didn't make it or if for a miracle you woke. I guess that sucks a little bit, in my opinion that option sucks a little but now that they put it hey should at least give the player ( not my case I had sex with morrigan ) an history about what happened. Like a mague healed you, or they found a unique flower with polem could make the archedemon spiritr get out from you, or even if you want a God explination, someone made a sacrifice to the Maker and He return you bakc to life ( too fabulatic I know but it's just an idea ).

Well, the Dev's said that if the player doesn't mind "hand-waiving" the continuity, neither do they. Which is cool, I guess, for people who don't give a **** about story. I find the very idea disgusting, so I simply won't do it. But I won't complain because others have the option. In fact, I'm glad they do.

I really hoped for Morrigan, not Oghren...

And I'm not sure about the no-romance choice... Morrigan (my fav character btw) just run away with my warden's son for heaven's sake, how could it be possible for him (who I made a very responsible lovesick one) to just ignore the fact?!

I'm sure I'll love DA:A non the less, but still I'll miss this part of the story. Let's hope for future expansions!
