Yes, I know, I've seen that a few times now. I meant in the expansion.

Did you use the dialogue options back at camp after her personal quest to persuade her to be herself and no longer shelter in all that chantry stuff? She rarely mentions the maker to my warden and then mostly just in the same way as other characters do. She still has a bit of religion in her; but that suits the ambience of the story.
Nor does she seem at all hypocritical to me. She sought shelter in all that religious Chantry stuff as a solace/escape from that part of her past where she was led into a life of assassination and intrigue and her betrayal, though she never really fits in to the Chantry. She is grateful when you persuade her to forget the Chantry, be herself and move on.
She tells some great stories too, and has some great descriptions of Orlais in her dialogue.
I think her story and personality are very good and she is definately a favourite of mine.

I would love an answer to my very simple question: to wit, how much space on the hard drive of a PC does Awakening take? I have cut things to the bone, and after adding the 20 gigs plus of Origins I have very little hard drive space left. If I can't add it, OK, I still have plenty of play left in Origins, and in both NWN games, for that matter. I would like to know whether I have room for Awakening or whether I must wait till later.

1. Keening Blade and Fade Wall can be found from a corpse of a demon lich thing during the side quest called "Unbound".
2. Yes you can run into again when traveling on the world map, very low chance but it is there. You will run into him traveling with a group of refugees where you can let him go again and finish him for good.

Thanks, Lady Jess. Do I really need 20 gigs left on my hard drive to download Awakening? I only have 16. Or do your specs apply to Dragon Age: Origins, which I have already installed, along with all other available downloads for that game?
Houndiddy wrote...
Yes, Lady Jess, that's what the link you found seems to be saying. I did not believe the original game would take up 20 gigs but yes, it did! So I guess Awakenings is nearly the same size and I will have to uninstall Origins to install it, or get a bigger hard drive.
Thanks for your help!

haha i guess you are not fond of ohgren being in awakening.

The only thing ohgren will be doing in my party if i end up buying the expansion (unlikely at this point) will be cooking my food, washing my dirty clothes and generally staying the hell out of my way. I kicked him from my party in disgust every runthrough. Cant stand the disgusting uncouth lush...
Im all for getting happily sozzled after a traumatic day, but really... I've known enough people like that character to have absolutely no time for a virtual version of the same smelly loud inconsiderate anoyance...
Ehem... *takes a deep calming breath* Im not fond of him being in awakening either lol

Here's what I don't get. . . If you import a character that did the ultimate sacrifice does Awakening explain how they mysteriously came back to life or are they treated like it never happened? That's the one thing I'd really like to know.

So ok, what will happen if i import my character and I was a female romancing Alistair and he didn't become king?

From what I read no they don't you just appear there like you didn't make it or if for a miracle you woke. I guess that sucks a little bit, in my opinion that option sucks a little but now that they put it hey should at least give the player ( not my case I had sex with morrigan ) an history about what happened. Like a mague healed you, or they found a unique flower with polem could make the archedemon spiritr get out from you, or even if you want a God explination, someone made a sacrifice to the Maker and He return you bakc to life ( too fabulatic I know but it's just an idea ).
