And please don't confuse importing/exporting from DA:O to be the same as NG+. Maybe you can only import from DA:O but not from DA:OA

sure hes the king but in the trailer it makes it look like is gonna be another playable character, i have a feeling this is gonna be a great game even without certain things but when you make another dragon age origins please keep the romance in it..it makes things interesting...
(second character made both girls fall in love with him) its funny and interesting XD

Wow... Ohgren... I'm amazed. /sarcasm
The only time I actually had him in the party was when he WAS PUSHED DOWN MY THROAT because of that psycho "dorf" he married and bla bla bla bla (who cares anyway).
I hate Ohgren, I don't find him funny in the least, I find him rude, crude and a few more names that I can't mention here come to my mind.
I left him rotting in DA:O and I will leave him rotting IF I get this expansion. From the looks of it, I probably will spend my money somewhere else or just wait for the "mod team" to bring the old companions into Awakenings.
It makes no sense that some (those alive/that didn't leave) of them would accompany you because when you talk to them at the end, you can ask them to continue to travel/adventure/whatever with you and they, for the most part AGREE.
But no... we get stuck with the drunkard "dorf". Yes... because we all love him... right... <_<
More "air time"... don't make me laugh. He'll be as ignored as he was in DA:O (By me at least).
It would have made a lot more sense if there was a mix of old and new companions. For example:
Love Interest + Winne + New companions
This would make sense no?
And from what I saw on the video... what's with all the mages? New fad: the "squishy party"?
Now... for the "no romance" part... IF and oly IF... there's no romances due to the fact that you already have a lover from DA:O (which appears as a cameo... woohoo?)... then... it makes sense.
However, we can start with a new character. What's his/her story? Did he/she leave a "Cameo" behind in Orleans?
Oh wait... Bioware says they wanted to bring "new, shiny things" to us.... "My preciiiioooouuuuusssss"
At any rate... I'll wait, see and check the reviews, especially from the players before I make a decision. For now, this rushed expansion full of bugs only reads one thing to me: Epic Fail.
oh comeon A you havent tried it B who cares about love interest sure its fun funny and awesome but sometimes you just need to take a break from that sometimes you just need a little more action and a little less romance so stop complaining geez your acting like a little child whos completely spoiled..oh wait you were probably raised spoil now it explains everything<_<

I like DA over ME in almost every way, but the only thing ME got over this game is Shepard has a voice. I have a hard time playing DA these days because of that.

Is there voice acting for our Hero this time?

No...ME was easy, you were only shepard, male/female.
Here they would need dwarf, human, dalish elf, city elf and male/female versions. Too much $$.

The one with the childish attitude is you. Go find another little kid to flame and insult.
P.S - After hearing that the expansion was crap, I borrowed it from a friend and is indeed, total crap. If I want to play a RTS, there's specialized games for that out there.

Why don’t my DLC items carry forward?
The rewards in Awakening quickly outpace the best items you’d find from Origins and Origins’ DLC. The root of the issue is that the previously released DLC was not built in such a way that those DLC items import properly into Awakening.
Rather than spending the resources addressing this thorny issue in multiple DLCs, we spent our time adding features and polish that made Awakening better. We believed that since the gear was quickly replaced that this wasn’t a major issue. We are currently investigating solutions for a possible patch. Some silver lining to this, the “Power of Blood” abilities from Warden’s Keep do import properly into Awakening.

My main concern is the total lack of continuity exhibited by this game. I am almost loathe to continue playing more than a couple minutes because at the end of Origins I asked Leliana to travel with me, in the scrolling finishing story, it says we travel together to Arl Howe's old estate, and yet, when I arrive, no Leliana. Thats crap. Where did she go? Did she die? Leave me? I worked long and hard on that particular character relationship and it seems stupid for me to pay 40 bucks for a game that slaps me in the face by saying all the DLC I payed for and relationships I worked toward aren't important enough to be given back to me.
Do you have patch 1.04 installed? Your complaint about lack of continuity is addressed in that patch.
