They need to patch this as well, as I don't remember the patch notes mentioning this issue:

@Knight3000
Tomorrow... as of know it's still the 21'st there.

Well, besides the blatant floating Shepherd. The loss of all achievements. The buggy IFF/Reaper quests that has caused my game to as of yet recover. It is a good game, but cmon what kind of QA dept do they have? Couple fresh students recenlty graduated from VGU(Video Game University) that can't beleive they get paid to play videogames.

ANother perfect example of game running differently on some systems. All I've ever run into is the heartbeat at loading screens and once in a blue moon floating.

Can someone explain to me what this FOV issue is? Is this the same as some widescreen issue I sporadically hear about?

So... is there a patch coming any time soon to fix the import issue where players can't tweak their faces or get proper facial codes? (in both cases the results resetting to default).

if u start a game with a "fresh" (not an import) charecter, they should allow u to choose mainplot choises (save council, spare the rachni). it rly not that difficult. there is allready an editor allowing u to edit all ur choices (big and small) from ME1 for imported charected...

It's not as though the changes are worth waiting for anyway. it doesn't fix any of the actual problems.

The patch doesn't fix any of the issues I had with the game, although they were nothing major to begin with. I wonder if they'll at least fix some of the codex entries, e.g. the primary 'Technology' section missing a scroll bar, and the duplicated garbage text at the end of the 'Turians: Government' entry.

I did get my weapons rearranged once, but that was when I was aboard the collector ship and got a new weapon, not because of DLC, and it fixed itself after visiting the weapon locker.

This is fantastic news, I thought this would come in patch #2. Thanks for working so hard, BioWare! This is support done right.

There are many other infamous bugs...

I wonder how the beta testers didn't notice some of them, such as the stuck and elevating issue.

Well, Bioware usually release many patch to their games so i guess all of them will be fixed some day or another.

We just need a bit of faith about that ... =D

Will I be able to play the game now? I know that there are a lot of people unable to play the game due to crashes on start up (or were, I don'tknow, apparently some were caused by having the Dragon Age disk in the other disk drive). I've been waiting for this since I got the game.

Depends why the game is crashing. If you are one of the Single core CPU users, it's very likely the game will work with the patch.

The same if your OS only finds one core of your dualcore CPU.

I'm hopping that this patch will fix several other items than the ones mentioned in the first post :P

Wouldn't count on it. Changelogs are either complete or useless ;-) So if it's not mentioned, it ain't fixed.

What i really want to understand is why do they first fix bugs, which occur just because your PC is BELOW system requirements (single core).
Those people with singlecores should be so grateful and buy all BioWare games in the future, because other companies would just not care.
It is like bringing just a knife to a gunfight, but being the first to get ammo.

ME2 is such a great game but i've completed it just once, because those few bugs and clitches are so annoying.

Your ? key is broken, and as long as there is no news in the announcement board, don't expect that the patch is out. Estimated time of release is in ca. 3.5 hours.
