Still nothing on the interaction bug either. What a waste of $50, when you cant interact.

I have an interesting issue, not with the patch which saved my single core laptop (THANK YOU BIOWARE!) which deals with very rarely (mostly in the intro) the characters voice can be heard but they're lips are not moving or both are not working at all and i rely on subtitles (this is mainly with EDI) so hopefully that'll be fixed in the future. Not a gamebreaker though, graphics and combat are great! This one fight at the end was a little corny tho lol

That's what I meant about changelogs. If they are not complete, they are useless. And why the heck would they not be complete?  Unless backdoors are about to be installed... Implications: disturbing!

You'd be surprised how many changelogs are incomplete, especially things like device drivers.  Creative hasn't posted complete driver changelogs in years (despite making obvious changes that are well documented on their message boards), almost all motherboard BIOS updates contain no information as to what they do (and those that do are pretty much always incomplete), and while it's less common to see this with games (Modern Warfare 2 immediately comes to mind), it does happen.  Never, ever expect patch notes to be complete by default.

They just fixed single-core problem, how about dual-core problem? My E5200 C2D CPU still need the "CPU Affinity" trick to make game smooth. Thank god someone write a program named MassAffinity...

Agreed, though I would think bioware would be better than them, and account what changes are made during this development cycle, and future development cycles.

This is a known issue related to low FPS (performance). Although i didn't encounter that on my 6 year old Single Core CPU. But i must say, the performance is impressive, especially on my old PC.

After installing this patch, I get graphics issues that weren't there before. It looks like small, shining pixels that pop up and disappear all over the view.

I uploaded an example:

I installed the patch and removed the old green screen and performance fixes, and the game now runs near-flawlessly on my dinky single-core PC. There's an occasional graphic glitch here or there (A polygon not rendering properly, or scrambled pixels), but nothing serious. I'm not even seeing the much-predicted lag in the patch notes.

I'm glad to be able to play this game as it was meant to be played.

What are your system specs and driver versions?
Did you make any modifications to the game prior to installing the patch?
Also what are your video card settings?

I'm running Vista with Radeon HD 4850. Drivers are Catalyst 2008.0923.2139.35956. A bit old, I admit, but worked fine before. Will update them tomorrow. I don't know if by settings you mean exact configuration. Most of it is either disabled or set to application's control.

I 'modified' the game in terms of changing localization with sku.ini from my native to INT.

Love the patch. Finally able to play it as intended. I think I got a nice performance boost on my single core too.

Thank you very much for the patch! I can finally start playing the game on my single-core PC.

So.. do you just have to reset the keys to default to get the binds sorted out after the patch, and you can then change the binds to whatever you normally use after that?

So I take it they haven't fixed the assignments such as N7: Javelin Missiles Launched

@Darkstar87uk
If it's not in the Changelog it's not fixed.

Yes. They did that as preparation for the Hammerhead DLC that will be released soon™.

After I installed the patch I can no longer look around while using the tactics HUD. Does anyone else have this issue?

Can't test it since I can't launch the game currently (not because it's broken, just not available :P), but I believe you have to press your Aim button in order to look around. Saw it on another thread, not sure if it works but worth a try

Anybody made new character after patch? Before missions were doable but now on recruiting Archangel it stops. Doesn't crash but after Jaroth and heavy mech are dead there is still 1 enemy to kill. Behind barricade and he doesn't advance, doesn't attack, can't even see him. Just a red dot on radar. Can't get to him, tried missile, all powers, drone, nothing works. Garrus still thinks there are more to kill and doesn't advance to next stage. Before patch never had problems there. Tried couple times to restart mission but always same. After Jaroth no next stage.

Did the Archangel mission yesterday, it wasn't a new character, but started the mission after the patch and had no issues except dying a lot closing the shutters. It's a bit hard to do that on Insanity^^.

Maybe it's starting new character problem. I'll do mission with character that was made before patch. Just to make sure.
Edit: vanguard made BEFORE patch works fine. Character made AFTER patch still same problem. After Jaroth no next stage.

No issues here. However I'm curious about this:

- Added useful messaging during the ME1 save game import.

Really? Where and what exactly? I imported a new ME1 character after patching, but I didn't see any messages at all, at least nothing that wasn't there before the patch.

Installed patch tonight and it seems to increase mouse acceleration to a huge level. Moving my mouse about a half-inch turns in a full circle. *sigh* Guess I'll have to mess with the config file that has the settings for this before I play next unless the camera sensitivity option is enough. Coalesced.ini says 1.0 for the setting though, so I'm confused.

Edit:  Nope, low camera sensitivity is still a joke where the slightest twitch sends the camera zipping around.
