I just bought Mass Effect 2 and when I start the launcher it just said "mass effect 2 has stopped working" I dont know what the problem is, please I need help!!!
My PC stats
Windows Vista service pack 2
Pentium dual core CPU T4200 @ 2.00ghz
RAM 4 gb
graphic card 256mb
Is it a problem or my pc just cant support the game (it would be strange cause dragon age runs just fine on medium graphics)
Thank you in advance!!!
Mass effect 2 crash

It can't run without a video card, and just having some VRAM lying around, not attached to a proper card or anything, can't "run" anything at all. It's the most important part of a PC used for games, after all (no, nor the VRAM).Skenderbeu 1444 wrote...

Sorry, my mistake, I'm not that good with computers, my graphic card is Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family. I know it is an integrated card, that's why I was wondering if that is the cause of the problem cause I heard that this game doesnt run with intel graphic cards.

If Dragon Age is able to run, then Mass Effect should run too. They have the same requirements regarding Shaders. Although DA:O requires less video ram.
edit:
Ouch, Intel videochips are hit or miss (more miss than hit) regarding videogames. Normally they are not supported and you can consider yourself lucky if a game runs without problems. If it does not, you're normally out of luck.
Is it a laptop? If not, then you should consider buying a dedicated videocard.

By definition, a "graphics card" is on its own circuit board, entirely separate and discrete, from the systen's mainboard. ATI and nVIDIA produce such cards. Only once, a dozen years ago, was there ever anything meeting that definition produced by Intel. And in exactly the same way as their chips are junk today, that card was a total failure.Skenderbeu 1444 wrote...

Onboard graphics is the least useful, cheapest, slowest, and worst possible video. It is the only thing Intel has made for the 12 intervening years until the new i5s appeared with the chip unearthed from within the chipset, so it could sit inside the package with the CPU. It's now nearly as good as all the other onboard chips, instead of the worst of all such chips.
