Makes sense to me, to have a new downloadable mission where you go and possibly rescue Feron, who Liara implies is captured from dialogue in ME2.

It is all rumor and speculation at this time. I would love it to be true, but I am not sure if this is going to happen.

That's what they said in an interview several months ago as I recall... but like I said, that was many months ago and things are subject to change.

Pure speculation right now. Though I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the final panel of the comic said "To be continued in Mass Effect 2" with a small announcement of the DLC on the last page or something.

Ah yes, "Liara" the innocent Asari you corrupted and turned into a hate machine with hawt secks, we have dismissed that claim.

Wait, so they did say they were releasing Liara DLC? Not that I'm doubting you but do you have a source? I don't want to be disappointed without a reason.

I want to do as much as I can to get away from Liara because I cheated on her with Tali and I know that she would flay me alive. WITH HER MIND!

But still sounds like a cool DLC idea.

"IGN Comics: We know that Bioware is going to be releasing some more downloadable content for the first Mass Effect that sort of bridges the gap between that game and the sequel. Is this comic connected in any way to those stories?

Walters:
Actually, our goal right now is to have the story tie to some of the downloadable content for
Mass Effect 2. That will probably be coming later next year. I don;t think we have specific dates yet. It's meant to be standalone in the sense that it explores something we don't necessarily see in the game, but it is connected to the game, and in the downloadable content we hope to follow through on some of the events in the comic."

This was last year. Its unknown whether or not they still plan to go through with this DLC which is why its just rumors/speculation at this point.

You'd better start running.

Bah, it seems quite likely with all the attention she's giving Feron that she's moved on to another, albeit more scaley, man.

Well 'following through on some of the events of the comic' is quite a long way from saying Liara will be in DLC. For example, Kasumi could show up in issue 4 in a cameo. Or could just be some plot element that connects into a DLC module.

I guess we'll know more in a month or two.

It would make some sense. The comic clearly ties heavily into the early game, but the events of it are barely mentioned when you engage in conversation with Liara. And I still find it somewhat odd that her assignments fall on the mission side of the journal, as if they somehow play into the game in a larger way.
