So I have the game, and it's great. But I keep running into a lot of technical problems.

Problem number 1. As I play the game, it kinda studders a little bit, and I counted, every time there's a little hiccup, the time between each one is about the same (I count to 3, and there's "hiccup" type thing) This happens no matter what I set my setting on. Lowest, highest, it doesn't matter. Vsync on or off, that other effects check box thing, whether that's check or not this happens always. Except on cutscenes, cutscenes are fine. But when I'm walking around and doing stuff, it constantly does that.

Problem number 2. If I play the game for mor than like a half hour, some of the textures start going crazy. Like, the clothing for some NPCs gets all jacked up. For instance, I'm in Redcliff fright now, and the Tavern keep, his entire body (not his head. That was fine) was completely black. It kinda looked like he was decked out in leather all over. A lot of NPCs get like that, and it completely ruins the immersion factor. Also, when I went into that same tavern, it was completely dark in there, save for the torches being lit. It didn't look the way it was supposed to. Upon entering it again, the texturs on the walls and floor kept changing and it was all blurry and weird.

Problem number 3. I get random crashes for seemingly no reason.

Here's my set-up.

GeForce 9800GTX
4 gigs of RAM
3.0ghz dual core processor.

I JUST updated my drivers, I reinstalled the game, defragged my hard drive, and I'm having the same problems.

If anyone could help, that would be nice. These issues are starting to really get underneath my skin, and I'm having a hard time enjoying the game.

9800s have a driver problem... it's on Nvidia's end rather than the game... this problem also occurs with 8800s, several of the M-series GPUs and ATI's HD3870s

JironGhrad, could please tell me where you heard about the driver problems?

I am using an 8800 GTX and I am seeing the same problems as D-Sledge.

I just have encountered an issue, after patching the game to ver. 1.01 it no longer launches when the "play" button is clicked. other buttons like uninstall and exit still functions though.Help!

ouch ... elnodd i have exactly the same problem ... im running with a gforce 9800 video card here.
