Im suprised husk were such a issue for people. If you are playing a vanguard or sentinel, you can go through them like butter. Especially sentinel with the tech armor, on insanity they would swarm me with like 7 or 8 around me and the explosion from the tech armor still was enough to knock all of them back or kill them.

As for most annoying enemy.. harbinger, i would say scion but you deal with harbinger a lot. And on insanity he can be a a-hole at times.

I hate Praetorians. I just fought one today that survived a direct hit from a tac nuke. Damned regenerating barriers.

On my first Insanity-playthrough I had music turned off (for the occasional video recording) - this only made Harbinger even more annoying. In other words, it is not so much the constant power spam (which is annoying enougn, particularly when it knocks you out of cover and a bunch of Collectors + Scion kills you within the next two seconds), it is the fact that he NEVER SHUTS UP. Occasional taunts would be fine, probably even fun, but seriously - this just gets silly.

Since I frequently refuse to use medi-gel on squad mades that stupidly get themselves knocked out, I've on occasion gone all guerilla warfare (a nice way of saying I run away a lot) on Harbinger and his minions. This can be exciting, action wise, but I really wish he'd shut up.

harbinger.

hes more powerfull then comander shepard. he can knock me out of cover with his biotics. nobody, not even the great commander shepard can do that. im pretty sure i have ARMOR and SHIELDS up too. but his biotics penetrate that. its like im fighting an ME1 level 60 adept with my ****ty level 30 ME2 adept. hes got no cooldowns er something. hes got singularity, incinerate, a shield blast type thing, and all kinds of abilties.

in ME3 i want to play as harbinger. forget commander shepard. what a ****.

Dude ! Harbinger IS the REAPER !

Yeah Harbinger is definitely the most annoying, because he never stops spewing his irritating dialogue. And since fights can take a long time on Insanity, I quickly grew to hate him with a passion.

Following the topic title, yes Harbinger by far.
Actually I suppose his taunts are so annoying, they end up being comical. Almost like Arnie's one-liners.

I've definitely had the most trouble with the Praetorians. I think I died more times fighting those bastards than any where else... Especially on Insanity.

"Oh noes, my armor is getting damaged, I better get into this invincible stance and kill everything around me!"

Foolish me, I took too long to learn to stop getting too close. They can even kill you behind cover.

I never died from husks, even on Insanity. I make em chase me around, and then blast em with a shotgun and have Jack hit em with Heavy Shockwave.

For Husks, bring the Avalanche

For Harbinger, be equally as annoying

I find all the enemies annoying in a humorousway, especially after reading this thread

But seriously, those husks are... even on Normal, obsessed with ganging up on you and your teammates for then to  spanking, smacking and groaning at you and your squaddies while trying to getting a decent aim or charge:wizard:, adrenaline:O or cloack:ph34r: your path away from them.

As much as I hate Praetorians, I found them to be more manageable than the freaking Scions.

Scions are easy with the Widow (or whatever, legion's) sniper rifle. 6 shots and down they go (on insanity).
But the absolute bastard of all enemies is Harbinger. He has an attack which knocks you out of cover, absorbs ammo, takes control of that one tough last enemy you were about to kill and "This hurts you".
Oh, and the praetorians aren't that tough, just spam concussive shots to keep it from deploying its barriers.

The Scions are a little bit tougher when 50 husks are converging on you every time you look down your scope.

Bring Tali with you and use her explosive drone to distract the Scions. If you time it correctly and shoot the Scion before it attacks the drone, you can keep it distracted forever.

The Praetorians, OTOH, never become distracted by droids, which is why they're far harder. They should be easier now that I'm an infiltrator with a cloak though.

Scions...because I'll be coasting along all fine and dandy no problem when all of a sudden *WHAM* shields down and two seconds later I'm dead. Aaaaarrggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

I don't much care for the Praetorians either, but they're at least moderately manageable. Those Scions though - every time I see one it's an "Awww crap" moment and I really have to be on my toes, which doesn't always MATTER because I'll end up dead anyway.

This from a Vanguard's perspective and I have not tried insanity because my blood pressure probably couldn't handle it.

Scions for sure... more of them throughout the game and alot more annoying... during the Reaper IFF mission Scions + HUSK on insanity = Posted Image

The Praetorians were hard, but nothing to difficult. On Horizon, I was lessed worried about it than I was during the  fight againts two scions.

Scions are evil SOBs.

Two hit kills that seems to have a random tendency to go through cover is fail. And when you encounter one (or even better one of the oh-so-common pairs of the accursed things) in the presence of Husk hoard it gets ten times worse.

Insanity was horrible where that combination presented itself:crying:

Probably Praetorians.

My God. The first time I did the last Praetorian fight on Insanity, the rest of my squad got glitched or bugged outside the area, and were completely ****ing useless to me.

I actually fought it until I got overwhelmed by the second wave of husks and knocked out of cover, which pretty much resulted in instant death.

I don't know why I didn't just restart the fight with my entire team in the first place.

Scions... hate the bloody things, especially if they have husks witrh them.

Praetorians aren't that hard, they're more like "Hullo! Try killing me in less than 15 minutes!"

I actually don't hate preatorians that much. When you encounter them there is plenty of cover. I just fill them with slugs from the rev and some missiles.

Scion husk combo, don't even get me started. Shoot the scion, shot it some more, oh wait there's about twenty husks behind me. So I take out a shot gun, try to avoid them then get hit by the scion's stupid attack.

Also,on haestrom. When you get the second demo charge. Three rocket spamming geth and flamethrower destroyers. You can't do anything to stop the flame rush because you're pinned down by the barrage of rockets.

heavy mechs as an infiltraitor, seriously there is nothing you can do.

I wonder if game developers say, "What's the most annoying thing we can think of that will make players pull their hair out?" and then implement it

the flame thrower is very handy on husks, the beam cannon chews right through the preatorian's barrier, followed by a bunch of armor-piercing rounds and the giant flying space crab is as good as dead. scions though.............i hate scions
