I was listening to his war stories when he told one about a job on a ship were they picked up on an eight year old runaway and "used" her.
Its possible that that kid is Jack or am I thinking to much?

When Zaeed talked about that little girl, he was talking about saving a little girl ran away from a slaver camp; and when he talked about Jack, he was talking having a powerhouse like Jack could make a difference, back when his team made a drop into Krogen DMZ, which he lost a hell lot of men.
So I don't think there is any connection.
