Blood Magic seems to deactivate anytime I open and then close my inventory, tactics, skills etc. etc. This happens once I close the window.
I have Avernus' armor (+ Blood Magic) equipped, but trying it in my bag still had the same result.
This should be a sustained spell.

Mine seems to shut off when combat ends, buggy for sure, but thought it might be a feature. What you describe makes it seems more like a bug.

Also, Blood magic deactivates whenever you save (even autosaves) and at the end of every conversation.
This ranges from an annoyance to dangerous, as many times after an autosave you can find yourself in front of a group of enemies, with blood magic on a fresh cooldown.

Same problem, it also deactivates when your character interacts with any object like a corpse or door.

Set a tactic to Self: Any activate it, as a workaround.

That's not a workaround.
However that will help anyone who has a Blood Mage for a party member and wants it reactivated without changing to them.

I also have the same problem, somewhat annoying...

Yeah, I get the same problem... It even deactivates if I cast a blood magic spell, and why does the blood magic control spell cause the victim to take continuous damage,it's not in the description?

I have the same issues with Blood Magic randomly turning off.
Spell Might also seems to have a problem as well... seems random so far (i.e. I have plenty of mana and health when either of these sustained buffs turns themselves off.)

They set Blood Magic to shut off after combat is done. If you're using it out of combat it will immediatly shut off after you cast a blood magic spell. Whether we like it or not it is Working As Intended.

Well even in combat it turns off if I loot something or open inventory.
I mean seriously, I'm a Bioware fanboy, but did they even playtest this? It's painfully obvious from the second you spec into Blood Magic.

Anyways, even if it's intended to turn off after combat that's silly... it completely kills the pace, leaves you open for the 10s cooldown on fights that start after a dialogue or auto-save, and in the worst case deactivates when you aren't really out of combat but technically are (think when there's a pack ahead and for whatever reason they slowly decide to run out in small batches. I'm not pulling them...)

you're doing blood magic wrong...
activate it, do your business, deactivate it, let wynne heal you, start using actual mana for other spells while you wait for cooldowns. I always did blood magic this way... I would think it's best for survivability
