Okay, my first playthrough with my soldier i got everyone loyal, unlike my first time with my infiltrator, but after doing legions loyalty quest and coming back to the normandy, that little fight scene broke out between legion and tali, and the lame thing was, i only had two dialogue options, and my renegade was basically 4 bars full, but only had the option to side with either legion or tali.

(oh and ps, when doing legions loyalty mission i decided to save the geth, not kill them, dont know if that effects this?)

So for my 2nd playthrough, i switched over to shock trooper instead of comando for the +100 renegade/paragon.

My question now is, if i can get my renegade up to what it was from the 1st playthrough, which shouldnt be a problem, will shocktrooper help with that scene? Because i dont want to lose legion again, im tired of having done 3 playthroughs and still havent gotten the no one left behind achievement

Help and tips are appreciated.

Not sure if the Shock Trooper Bonus is cumulative, but you can do the mission with disloyal party members if you are careful and keep them out of important jobs.

See i did that, i only lost legions loyalty, i didnt assign him to anything, everyone survived so far, and then i get to that part when shepard radios joker and asks if everyone makes it, and he says all survivors are on board, and the camera cuts away to legion laying dead on the floor while collectors walk by, it sucks.

That's why I prefered ME1's Persuade/Intimidate system

In ME2 you have to go complete down the Paragon/Renegade path to get the most conversation options.

Yeah i still havent gotten my copy of ME1 yet (lame town doesnt have a single store with the platinum hits verison in stock -.-) But i heard you put points into it instead of it automatically filling up based on how you act?

And so far its impossible for me to fill either, paragon seems to be the worst to try to fill.

I have a quick question for you. Who did you take with you to fight the human Reaper? If you took people like Garrus, Zaeed or Grunt, that is probably what killed Legion. Leave those three on the line, along with Legion since he is disloyal, and take a couple of weaker fighters with you, such as Tali and Mordin.

Hmm, i took garrus and grunt i believe.

Im guessing why he died is because he was with a group of weak fighters and didnt have the support he needed to make it through without loyalty?

You know when I had that problem I just told Legion to not send the data, and then when Tali left I told him that I lied. Kept both of them loyal.

Correct. Garrus, Grunt and Zaeed are the three strongest fighters to hold the line. By taking two of them, you made the line too weak to hold without casualties. As a disloyal tech, Legion was the first in line to die on the line.
