I have installed and reinstalled the game, updated my drivers, but nothing happens: the game simply does not launch. I press play, the screen goes black for second and immediately I get a windows error message: 'Dragon Age: Origins has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.'

Note that this is the 1.0 version I am talking about, so this is not the 1.01 patch problem people seem to be having. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I fiddled around with the configuration a bit and it turns out the game crashes when I use full screen, not windowed. Any ideas anyone?

Hi Lord MacBeth, Any progress since 2 weeks ago? I can also play in windows but it is pretty lame. Have you figured out how to play full screen? Your help would be appreciated.
