Well, this is annoying. Does anyone know? Is there anything that can be done about the infamous Blood Dragon Armour bug that doesn't allow the amour to show properly on female elves?

I know the problem can be corrected on the pc, but how about the Mac version?

Hrm, the Mac version comes with Blood Dragon Armor 1.1, which is supposed to have fixed this. Are you saying it isn't?

I have the same problem on my Mac. I asked about it and haven't heard back in days.

No, it's not fixed, problem's still there. I've browsed the internet but didn't find any solutions to it...

Has anyone of you tried to re-install the *PC* version of the DLC with Modazipin?

I'd do it, but I need a female elf with str 38+ first... and I haven't bothered to enable the console yet.

Wait, how do you enable the console on Macs? I didn't think it was possible! I want to change my character's voice and I know you can do that with the console.

Well now I just had to figure it out. :)
Open the file ~/Library/Preferences/Dragon Age Preferences/config using TextEdit.
Add these lines to the bottom:

[AppDefaults\\\\daorigins.exe\\\\transgaming]
"cmdlineadd" = "-enabledeveloperconsole"

Edit: argh, it keeps messing it up. That should be two backslashes at each location, not anything else.

I made sure to have an empty line above and below just to be sure.
I think I had to change the default console button as well, but that might be because I have a Swedish keyboard. I put it on L just to have it on a letter (but I've changed almost all my keys already).

Open the file ~/Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Settings/KeyBindings.ini
Find the line that sais OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_Grave
Change it to OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_L

The problem is you can't see the console, but it is there and you can type (carefully) into it. When you start to type some other letters will appear all over the screen.

Oh, the console text will work if you manage to get a hold on the fonts.erf file and put it in ~/Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/packages/core/data/

Sweet! However I found a link to a way to fix the voice prob but only using the Toolset (which doesn't work on Mac) but I will still use the console to test stuff. Thanks!

Has anyone fixed this problem on the Mac ? I've got the console working with Text via a combination of Jhime's instructions above and installing the console text and additem scripts as per the details in the PC forums. I get a 'Success' when I've typed in runscript additem prm000im_blood_dragon_plate.uti 1 however nothing has appeared in my inventory.

Edit: Opps - it works fine if you type in the correct instructions .. it's dragon_blood not _blood_dragon :D Thanks to Jhime for your help!
