I used to do this a lot on my XP computer.
But apparently Vista is not as kind.
I'd capture a gaming video using the xFire software.
Then I'd use Rad Video Game Tools to convert it into a intermediate file that Pinnacle Studio could interpret.
Unfortunately, the codec I used is no longer supported or available (thank you Microsoft!) in Windows Vista.
Is there a fast method or alternate codec I could use in order to regain this function?
Preferably, a utility that did conversion into DV formats would be the best choice, since Pinnacle Studio can read and create this format quite rapidly.
