Why are jpg allowed in the files section but not in the Gallery Section?

I also can not upload files to the gallery. Files size is 314k, it tells me that it is larger than the allowed 1000k

There's quite likely some bugs remaining in the project gallery code - jpg *should* be allowed, and 314 < 1000, so that should be okay too (or it's telling you the wrong limit)

It seems that we were allowing files with the extension .jpg but not .jpeg for gallery images. This has been changed so both can be uploaded. Let me know if you are still have problems uploading jpg/jpeg images.



The wrong limit is currently being reported. It's something that wasn't finished when it was pushed live. The message does not reflect the actual limits it just has a dummy value there. I hope to have this fixed by the end of today.



The real limit currently set on gallery images is 100,000 Bytes per image.
