Meaning, living in couple together forever.

For  me, I would say no, simply because you couldn't have kids, or at least not of your own blood if with an asari.
I don't know how the tendencies are in ME, but for me having kids of my own is very important, I know it is selfish but that's how I would decide for my partner in life. Sure I wouldn't mind interspecies sex, hell, I would try it the first occasion presented, but for the serious buissness I would still pick a human, even if I loved a non-human.

What about you guys, what would you do?

Well I would either go with an Asari because I like the whole idea of the telepathic and phisical connection, or I would go with Miranda for her obvious attributes.

So humans who can't have children (believe me it happens :) ) are no-go too?

You have right to your own decision and if your own  children are the most important part of your future, then only a fertile human is an option. There is nothing wrong with that. Also there are people who can't/don't want to have kids and function very good, so I guess non-human is not a big problem here.  There is not much to discuss here, all depends on individuall values. Or you can try to ask Mordin to help. Though I am not sure what kind of crazy sh*t would that create:whistle:

And you have to have kids don't you if your ina relationship?

Do you even know what the opposite sex even looks like, never mind how they think etc?

What has having kids got to do with being in love and wanting to spend the rest of you life with someone? If you really loved them, and felt you wanted to be with them forever, nothing else matters....

As for the question, in a heartbeat yes.

If I fell in love with one, then sure. The wish to have kids of your own is a valid one, and I could see why it might be a concern for the OP, but IMO love conquers all.

It's not like there aren't infertile couples living happily in the world today. Not to mention gay couples. Kids are important, but they're not the most important thing in the world. You can always adopt.

If I liked the alien's personality, sure.

I personally have no desire to have children, so not being able to have any would not bother me.

Yeah in an ideal situation yes, for me though it is more simplified since I cannot have children.

Considering Children i would definetly go with an Asari my Child would life for a thousand Years.

For me Love is more important however i would be attracted to either a Quarian an Asari or a Human i think.

Sure. Personality is what's important, looks are secondary, and the ability to have a child...well, that doesn't even enter the equation for me.

After all, many people in real life don't have children, and I see nothing wrong with it.

Yes, definitely. If any of us felt the need to have children through some point... well... If it was me I would go for an in-vitro pregnancy or something like that, if it was him but not me, we could adopt.

I'm young, I still don't know if I want to have children some day, but sharing my life with someone? And sharing my life with an extraterrestrial someone? Why not? xD

There's no downside to an Asari. Universally hawt, and with the possibility of reproduction.

I'm not certain I'd be able to tolerate being with the same human for "the rest of [my] days", and I can't see it being any differant with a non-human.

Sure, why not? I'd go Asari, because they would be Hawt all your natural life. They might want to leave you though as you shriveled and greyed, and they just kept lookin' hawt.
