if you lived in the ME universe, would you accept a nonhuman to live the rest of your days with him/her?

On topic, of course.
Clan Zorah, crew of the Ship Rayya/Neema (depending on weather it is ME1/ME2)

On Topic:
If I found a compatible personality then yes, children could be adopted.

I'd probably liked to live with an asari

Meh, I haven't read the codex in ages
So if Tali had born on the ship Qwip Qwip and had been assigned there as well, would her name be Tali Qwip Qwip vas Qwip Qwip or something?
As for the OP, yes.

IIRC it's:
Name
Clan
Ship you're assigned to
Ship you're born on
So I believe it should be Tali'Zorah vas Neema nar Raaya [sp?] -- I'm willing to be corrected if wrong though

As far as the topic goes even though I'm a Tali fan I would [realistically] have a very hard time settling down forever with someone that is radically different.
Asari seem human enough so I doubt that would be a problem. The radically non humans would likely be right out because I'd "never think of them in that way".
A Quarian, while humanoid-ish, would still not likely be a suitable lifelong companion. Anything involving fluid transfers would be stupid dangerous FOR THEM so most traditional love making would be out. You would even have a hard time holding hands because of bacterial contamination. Essentially you would have to totally abandon your old life, get a good hard decontamination, likely some gene therapy, and live in a sterile suit the rest of your life. Even then I'm pretty sure that bacteria that would be "good for you and needed" would still be very harmful to a Quarian For your LI's own good I'm not sure that [realistically] being with them forever is a good idea.
Basically even if you love a Quarian [and they love you] you need to think about if that relationship is fair to them. Is potentially killing them OK? Tali shows that she wants physical contact even though it's really playing with fire. Would both of you be satisfied with just neural programs in your suits?? If you REALLY love her is the best choice just to say no even though it kills you inside??

I'd be more concerned with her children issues(non-asari obviously), but I'm sure something could be worked out.

It's kind of a no brainer. The kids question would resolve itself if you both wanted it to.

Quarians are always assigned to new ships after completing their pilgrimage. No one is ever assigned to their birth ship.

Considering the dual chirality, the limitation is not just biological but chemical too. Making any ANY hybrid very unlikely, even with crazy gene-splicing. If someone pulled off, the child will be like the start of a JRPG plotline.Tooneyman wrote...
Yes, I would have a quarian and I would be a space bio-engineer. I'm curing her immune system problems and making a hybrid baby human/quarian. It will be called the quariman and yes I am strangE!
The only dual Chiralty organism.... savoir or destroyer.

Of course, the more the differences in culture\\background, the more difficult it is to make it work long term. Still, if I found someone I truly love I would definitely go for it.
The point is... never say never.
