Here is an all black uniform for shepard
I have seen many times in this forum, users requesting a way to have shepard's uniform without the stripe.

Enjoy!

You need three things before you start:
Mass Effect Save Game Editor, Notepad++, and Mass Effect INI Fixer

Here is the additional coalsced data you will need.

[SFXGame.SFXPawn_Player]
Place these after the tint areas. You need 16 and 28 to make this works
Tint1Appearances=(Id=28,Type=CustomizableType_Tint,Tint=(TintParam=(ParameterName="Tint_Color01",ParameterValue=(R=0,G=0,B=0,A=1.000000)),PhongParam=(ParameterName="Phong_Spec_Color",ParameterValue=(R=0.000000,G=0.000000,B=0.000000,A=1.000000))))
Tint2Appearances=(Id=16,Type=CustomizableType_Tint,Tint=(TintParam=(ParameterName="Tint_Color02",ParameterValue=(R=0,G=0,B=0,A=1.000000))))
PatternColorAppearances=(Id=16,Type=CustomizableType_PatternColor,Pattern=(Stripe1Param=(ParameterName="Stripe_Color_01",ParameterValue=(R=0,G=0,B=0,A=1.000000)),Stripe2Param=(ParameterName="Stripe_Color_02",ParameterValue=(R=0,G=0,B=0,A=1.000000)),Stripe3Param=(ParameterName="Stripe_Color_03",ParameterValue=(R=0,G=0,B=0,A=1.000000))))

Save coalsced and run the ini fixer app
launch mass effect 2

I did this cause I want an all black uniform (no stripe), but after finding out how to do it. I thought others might like to see how its done.

going by the labels, the actual arm stripe is really just this part

PatternColorAppearances=(Id=16,Type=CustomizableType_PatternColor,Pattern=(Stripe1Param=(ParameterName="Stripe_Color_01",ParameterValue=(R=0,G=0,B=0,A=1.000000)),Stripe2Param=(ParameterName="Stripe_Color_02",ParameterValue=(R=0,G=0,B=0,A=1.000000)),Stripe3Param=(ParameterName="Stripe_Color_03",ParameterValue=(R=0,G=0,B=0,A=1.000000))))

Tint1 is main armor color which you can already change to black. Tint2 is the cables and trim.  cool to know though because by changing those RGB values you can get whatever color you want.  have you tried changing each of those Stripe_Color_01-02-03 to different values?  could do a rainbow, or gradiants.

Tint values 1 and 2 only had a dark red or a dark green, but never a real black
Also if you use material #2 it makes the black even darker.

I didn't want to mess anything up so I added two new tints instead of overwriting.

Yes, the RGB colors can be used for any shades or colors.

Just add a new duplicate line and set id=29 id=17
Your new tint will appear right at  the end of your slider.

I never liked the stripe myself, so I was happy to find this out.

you sure about the no black on tint 1 (base armor color)? i've got 3 shades of red towards the left side of the slider (bright, medium, and a glossy dark red) and the furthest right is definitely black.

oh, no ____. i can add colors to the ingame armor changer thingy? nice.

IMO, that black armor would look cooler without gray pants... ;)
