Since i've no DVD drive on my PC, i just used my brother's DVD drive and installed the game over network. Worked fine, but when i try to launch the game, i get a "Failed to autheticate the disc. Please insert the correct disc and try again" message. I tried both discs. Is this just because the drive is networked or is there something else going on? If the first, is there any way to play the game via networked drive?

You have no choice if you run the hard copy. You have to switch to EA's digital copy (using your game's number at the EA Store).
Whast's the big deal about not getting a cheap DVD ROM drive?

Buying a DVD drive is very cheap, under $20. Either buy a drive and reinstall game (might have soem issues as it was a network install) or buy the DLC version.

Well, technically i have a DVD drive, but it's on IDE, and after i recently updated my PC the case is so crouded i really can't afford to fit it with IDE cables. Yea i guess i'll go buy a new SATA one then.
