Bioware Convention?

Just seems that with the coming of TOR, and the huge success of their other games, it would be great to set up some type of convention. I go to Annaheim every year for WoW and it has out grown the convention center. I'm sure with the amount of success that has been seen with Mass Effect and Dragon Age, and the future with TOR, having Bioware/EA start a convention centered around Bioware would be a very good/profitable idea.
Didn't know where to put this as a suggestion, didn't find anything already on the forums about it, so thought I'd just drop it as a suggestion.
Thanks

That's because E3 isn't for the public (in general) any more. There's still a lot of announcements there but it's not what it was.ILUVTOFU wrote...
Best I found was the E3 convention in Los Angeles in June, unfortunately unless you are in the industry the pass will cost you $400.00. So that plus the ticket to LA? Doesn't really seem worth it. Plus I looked at the pics, no one was wearing costumes!
BioWare (at the moment!) do not have any reason to have a seperate convention (BioCon?). What would they do, say, this year? "Well... TOR looks pretty. Dragon Age gets more DLC, and Mass Effect 2 gets more DLC too". Maybe when TOR hits the market they'll consider it more, sort of how BlizzCon focuses more on WoW than SC/Diablo but still has announcements for them and so forth, but until then? Wouldn't expect to see one.

That website says its in space... do you guys offer some sort of shuttle service?
No, but really am I right to guess that it is once a year? The last update I saw was from November. I was thinking about taking my next vacation in Canada.

Boo. Fired.
Last year's festival was "Pure Speculation... in Spaaaaaace!" i don't remember this year's theme, though. I am trying to get the ME Community's HMWSGX, a great costumer, as a guest panelist for this year's festival.

That's what "annual" means, yes.

We'll be updating the website again soon.

Err scratch that, just found a gaming convention in Indianapolis in August. I don't know if Bioware is going to actually be there, but it appears to be what I was looking for as far as costumes/events. Here's the link http://www.gencon.co...dy/default.aspx Hope you find what you're looking for.
If you're in the area definitely go to gencon--great tabletop games, a nice fleshed out costume community, and a growing video game section. If you do go to Gencon you'll see quite a few quarians (maybe a Tali but so far it sounds like three or so male quarians), and potentially a Jack and my FemShep

Gencon isn't far from me so I'm definitely planning on it, hope to see your costumes! I haven't ever made a Mass Effect costume, but right now I'm thinking either Miranda (even though I thought she was kinda a ****, still loved the outfit) or make the custom made armor I had in the game.

Woo!
And yeah, I looove Miranda's loyalty outfit. Not too fond of her attitude but the costume looks fun.

Sorry I didn't check this sooner, been too focused on DA:O Awakenings...
Just checked out the Pure Speculation website, and was really excited to see that, until I saw the October time frame. The industry and place I work is usually busy in October and I'm not allowed to take vacations during that time. I'll definitely keep it in mind though for a future date when my schedule hopefully is better.

Just looked at the gencon site for Indy and that may be a possibility actually; August is a much better time frame for me work wise. Thank you everyone for your replies, maybe I'll see some of you there.
