Legion is cool because he is Geth, but he doesn't have such a strong personality like HK-47. He has some individual traits, yet he still behaves as "this platform", but not like the individualistic HK-47

HK-47 for nostalgia and humor but the better character overall is definitely Legion.

Oh, this is difficult to decide! I don't even think they have much in common. They're both robots, but that's where the similarities end. Legion is a much more "mature" and interesting character. HK is there for comic relief.
I love comic relief characters, and HK-47 is definitely awesome and one of my favorite BioWare characters overall, but he had too much of a sociopathic personality to be taken seriously. What I love about some robots in fiction is their mostly unintentional sarcasm which springs from their analytical nature. HK is deliberately sarcastic. That's why I prefer Legion's curious, logical and objective personality.

Meh, Legion is a more genuine character, imho. HK-47 might be funnier but I don't think anything beyond that.

I was thinking about HK-47 just yesterday. Which one I like more? They are both great, I love Legion, he's awesome... but noone can beat HK-47. Even Chuck Norris would have difficult time beating him in awesomness contest.
