You folks are confusing facts with theory.

1) Fact: "The mechs are killing people."

2) Theory: "A traitor must be why the mechs are killing people."



The folks on the Cerberus base postulated the existence of a traitor because all the mechs were acting up and killing people. There could be any number of reasons that the mechs started acting up and killing people.



Evidence is concrete, definitive, and probative when subject to scrutiny. Evidence is something you can measure and weigh. You folks (both pro- and against- Wilson-being-a-traitor) are creating scenarios out of whole cloth, mistaking unrelated circumstances that point to* motive* as definitive evidence of guilt of a crime. Just because there is smoke in the room, it doesn't mean that someone shot off a gun.



Ex.s of non-circumstantial evidence: an email from the Shadowbroker to Wilson confirming the deposit of credits to his account in exchange for killing Shepard or a video of Miranda hacking into "good" mechs and turning them "evil" with a copy of her special super-duper password and login.



Therefore, I give before you the following scenario, which is equally likely as all the "traitor" arguments:

1) There is no traitor. There never was a traitor. The idea of a traitor was just that - a theory.

2) The Cerberus base got a load of contaminated/infected mechs from that starbase with the wacky AI. (Remember how the mechs all started killing people and self-destructing to the point they crashed a ship onto a planet? How hard would it have been for the base to get a shipment of mechs from the bad station?)

I expect much hate mail from this post.

Nope you're completely right about the lack of actual evidence Helen. And The Infected mechs is as much a possibility as any other theory I've heard.
Of course we'll never know for sure, since everyone's dead and the shipping records probably went up with the facility.
