I've decided to buckle and get a P.C. for Dragon Age and I don't have a huge amount to spend so

They will both get the job done, but If the ATI 5770 supports Eyefinity I'd choose that just for upgradeability in the future.
Currently running NVIDIA, but my next video upgrade is going to be ATI because Eyefinity looks amazing.

You would be better off assembling your own, but the first one is fine. However, the 5770 has GDDR5, so I'm not so sure that they didn't mislabel something on that page (either the 5770 part of the GDDR part).
Also, if it is indeed a 5770, that processor will be a bottleneck.

GDDR5 exists and will also be used on the Nvidia 300 series when they come out. It's mostly new features rather then improved raw performance (over GDDR 4)
