Hello!

Yesterday I finally managed to succesfully install all
the Deluxe Pre-order DLC to my copy of Dragon Age bought from Steam.
Now when I am trying to load the last save, game gives my this error
message stating "the save game has premium content in it and the owner of this content must be logged in to play the game". Not exactly those words but you get the point. Now what pisses me off is ofcourse the fact that I am the owner of these DLCs (they are on this account) and I am logged in.

Is there anyone else suffering from the same problem? Any help to get my game working again is welcome.

I have same problems... took me long enough to get DLC working and now that i try to resume game i get "the save game has premium content in it and the owner of this content must be logged in to play the game" i am logged in and I am the owner of the game and DLC's..... Besides does this mean that i cant play game in offline mode anymore because of extras that kind of seems pretty flawed ...

Ive sort of had the same problem, logging out,, then restart the game and log in, helped for me. Though you might need to do it a few times before it works.

How many times you did that and what exaclty you did? You launched the game logged in/out and restart the game and logged in? I have done this logging in/out and restarting several times now and haven't helped me so far. Makes me feel like an idiot. Guess I have to try few times more...

check and make sure you're logged into both steam and the EA account (found in the lower left corner of the game's main menu) you may need to log in and out there more than once

Well, I am logged into my Steam account (guess that's kinda obvious since I need to do that to start the game) and yes I am 100% positive that I am logged in to my EA -account (or whatever that is, the one in game). I am 100% positive that I own those DLCs (just cheked trough that reedem code link -> your redeemed content) and I am also logged out/in and restarted DAO now several times.

I had the same problem, couldn't load the game anymore and got that error message.



Thanks for the tip of quiting and reloading the game, it fixed it for me. It scared the living sh*t out of me when I got that bug though, thought my account was completely messed up and the DLC not linked to it.



This is NOT a nice way to start my morning, such a rude way to wake up... :-s

Allright, here's what I have done so far:

1.) Tried to log in/off and restart game: doesn't work for me



2.) Tried to clear donwload cache (as advised somewhere) as admin: doesn't work. In fact I think clicking that option doesn't actually do anything for me (or so it seems at least).



3.) Loaded last saved game without logging in: works, however, how does it affect my gaming if I play as logged off? Those DLC didn't have that "unauthorized" tag on them but once I log in they have once again? Can i play the game and DLC without logging in and all I miss are those achievements/social site profile updates?

I posted in another thread concerning this, but it's way down the list and this seems to be the most recent one. My Memory Band and Stone Prisoner DLCs are working intermittently- the Lion's Paw and Blood Dragon Armor work fine.



I think that my "fix" is going to be simply not using any of the DLC in future play-throughs until Bioware resolves the issue. It's not like I'd be losing something I paid for, since they were all preorder/bonus items anyway; the extra content is not worth the hassle of fighting to make the game work every time I try to play it. Here's hoping for a speedy fix.
