Hey bioware! I would just like to congratulate you on 2 fantastic
games so far! I have not yet completed me2, but its awesome so far. This
topic is a question/suggestion. I’m sorry if this isn't the right forum for
this, but it was the most relevant one I could find. The tri squad dynamic is
amazing, and works really well, and I like the fact that it’s a little harder
to 'recruit' squad members. But what I was wondering, is if your not currently
using them for combat or you exclude small snippets of conversation they make
no difference. I understand they are a few times that they come in handy but that’s
on certain (predetermined) occasions. Im not asking you to change anything, I
think adding more people to the combat squad is stupid, because it works
amazing the way it is, but I think that they should at least help with
the combat outcome, depending on how many squad members you have ect and
conversation outcomes, like fight for(or against you) depending on your loyatly.
Now im not trying to fix your game, or boss you around I was just thinking this
would be a interesting addition, and also wondering if you have thought about
something along the lines of this?
thanks so much for making an amazing series!

Sorry maybye I wasn't so clear...
Characters that aren't In your current squad are useless.Due to the fact that there are so many different people to chose for you squad, and that eventually most people have a favourite two squad members, all the others you have unlocked are useless. You spend hours winning their loyatly and all you end up with is a few dialogue options or the choice to use them in your squad for the current misssion. Obviously shepard would not go with just two squad members, and instead bring his whole team. Since you can only have two squad members at any given time the rest are renderd useless. So it would be nice to see some kind of bonus, from ‘inactive’ squad members.

Oh. I see.
I always thought Samara, Jack and Thane would've been a supporting role. Cutscene Thane, well, he's invisible and crawling around in ducts, and Samara can fly in and throw people through the floor. Jack could um...blow stuff up...

When you start playing on Insanity, you tend to pick squadmates who are good for the mission, not just your favorites. All of them come in handy on different missions.
