If only the EA support page wasnt so difficult to use...

The FAQs didnt lead me to anything having to do with bring down the sky DLC(Or ME1 DLC's in general) and i dont see a way to submit a direct ticket. Is there a way to submit a ticket or another way to get the CD key for BDtS?

Thanks in advance.

I just tried the Live Chat thing and the operator told me to post here because "we have not been updated with the product". I can tell that's not going to be very helpful, so I've tried again via email, but so far I'm not a happy camper.

This kinda forces me to download and get a key from somewhere else.

The sole puropse of me installing ME1 again, is to play through it, continue on my character in ME2 and then (hopefully) continue to play the character in ME3 when it's released.

Been waiting 36 hours for a reply to my email now, so much for 'we'll get back to you within 24 hours'.
Still no key, nothing but a generic 'we received your request' email. No option for live chat either, I might try to call them when 48 hours have passed. I just hope they'll provide me with a key once I get through to them.

I have the same problem, I've lost my BDTS key, and the original registration page is long gone.

I know I'm mad I lost my key as well. I don't know why the didn't take the registration for ME1 and put it on the social site and put it into my registered content. its a simple fix. I could just punch in my key off of steam into the social site like I did for dragon age and ME2. I know with bioware's older games there isn't a need to bring them to the new site but ME 1 is still relevent.

I just used the "Level Up" link at EA and talked to a game advisor. He only asked what email I use 'to play the game' and once I provided it, he gave me the link to the DLC page that is shown in post 1 of this thread and provided a CD key for the DLC. IT took less than 5 minutes this morning.

Good thing I wrote down the CD key during the chat though, because although I had the transcript sent to me via email, all the numbers were edited out in it. hehe I had already closed the chat box so I would have been so mad if I hadn't!

Just keep trying to get BDtS via the game advisors!

Come on Bioware! Many of us are replaying ME1 for a different save import in ME3. How come we can't register ME1 in the new forums? You guys should provide an easier way to get BDtS without contacting EA support, as we know how "pleasant" this is. ಠ_ಠ

Unfortunately, Bioware has nothing to do with it. Its up to EA to spend the time and money bringing the old forum's functionality across to here. If they dont release the purse strings, then nothing is going to be done.

I have the steam version, but when I try to use the links for the CD Key page it just leads me to Bioware homepage. And when i try to run the installer for BDtS I get a message saying "Unable to determine version of Mass Effect". Again I have the steam version, any help would be great, I'm almost done with ME1 and need to do BDtS

As it states in the first post in this thread, you need to contact EA support for the product key. As for the install problem, please consult the other thread for solutions on how to get it running with the steam version.

Contacted EA support through the email form, asked for a key for BDTS, and got a reply with my key the next day.

I've created an account and logged in on the home page, but whenever I go to the Help page I'm not logged in and can't log in. I just comes up with "The username and/or password you provided are incorrect. If you are having problems, please click on "I forgot my password" link." Which I do, then it tells me that my user name is invalid.
I have no clue what is going on, but I can't even get help when I need it.

Nevermind, whatever the problem is it seems to have fixed itself.

Edit: Since submitting the mail, I have now recived a reply and the CD key. EA have earnt my respect back.

Im in a bind tried to place mass effect on origin to make it easier to install it and keep it gathered my stuff, every download i have bought for mass effect i cant locate the codes for them any where and origin does not want to register my mass effect on it since it is a store bought version i think it just says error when i try to redeem the code.

Pinnacle station and bringing down the sky downloads i cant find the registration keys anywhere for those under any of my users, not after there merge with the ea and bioware users thing and the ea support thing cant seem to find mass effect as a game, so all i can do there is email them and wait for days on end with no response last time i had to go through a Battlefield 3 support dude on live chat to get my mass effect 2 sorted.

If any one has an idea what i can do to retrieve my cd keys and get mass effect sorted in general it would be appreciated.

Talk to EA support. They are the only ones who can help with account and product code problems. They also seem to be the only ones who can add ME1 to Origin for you. My advice is to avoid Origin like the plague, as there is a 101 page thread in the ME3 forum details its privacy violations.

That said, if you still have the game installed, you can get the product keys from the "Game" section of the configuration utility of ME1.

The problem is i have just recently reinstalled me1 again on a fresh os, wanted to do 1 last playthrough of me1 and 2 to get the char ready for me3.

And i would have liked to replay all the dlc both in me1 and 2, but i cant find the product code, and the response time of the easupport email department is horrible going on 2weeks now with an earlier report of an issue.

I am tryting to get the Bring Down the Sky Key and have been in chat for about an hour only to be told it is not offered anymore. Took me forever to get the tech to actually understand I cant register it the way it is meant to be.

So my questions is now... is the code still offered or did I get ahold of 2 people (Tech and his boss) that had no idea what was going on with thi?

I am not getting any help from the tech support. They are saying that there is a current issue with registration of the game and cannot issue a new code for Bringing down the sky. Look for a fix soon. Odd that my registration of the game has disappeared.

The registration for ME1 was on the old Bioware forums, and not these ones. The old forums were hacked, and instead of fixing the issues with them, EA just toko them down with no regard fo eth consequences it would have. Now, trying to get a BDtS key is likepulling teeth.
Just keep trying, eventually you will get a hold of a rep who knows what they are doing, and can give you a key within a few minutes.

I managed to get a BDtS key on live support chat with EA. It did work, but it's sort of strange that you should have to contact support just to get a free DLC. *shrug*
