Was worried about this myself, after a bit of digging realise it doesnt pop up in the assignments page, but rather going onto the galaxy map will have a system highlighed, just head in to the asteroid marked there.

Is it that X57 thing? Haven't tried it yet but I don't seem to remember it from past playthroughs.

If it is indeed the X57 asteroid thingy when is it recommended to go there? I just started the game, left the Citadel and headed to save Liara. That's all I did so far, anything I should wait for before going there?

Just go whenever you're manned up enough for a good fight - and are comfortable attacking with the mako under full throttle (unless you're into hours of hide-n-seek)

This morning (12hrs ago) I got a ticket for EA support. They sent me the link and key. It doesn't work the user cap has been reached. I sent a email and ticket, I hope this solves it.

 I just tried the install with the provided key and it worked.  So there are activations available for the moment!

Hi all, I don't think I've ever patched my version of ME1 PC (I own the Steam version). Can I go ahead and just grab patch 1.02 or do I need to install both?

Ive got the steam version 2, I think steam auto updates it, at least in me2 I had the last version without downloading a patch.

How can I tell if I have the current patch installed? I don't think I do because I still experience audio skips during some dialogue sequences.

I have both the retail and Steam version of ME1. I had BDtS for the retail and it is supposed to be included in the Steam version. But of course one cannot get it to work without the serial number. I had one for the retail version, but lost it when I had to switch to a new hard disk drive.

That means I cannot load any saved games and I want to finish a couple of them.

I have an EA support ticket from a while back. They closed it January 2nd 2012 without any comments at all.

I started a new one. Not even got a confirmation by mail.

EA doesn't care about its customers and looks like their BioWare division doesn't care either. Fantastic trilogy. Especially when you cannot get Part 1 to work.

check for the links in this thread to BDtS - they work - as to version, open the masseffect config utilty and check - ver 1.02 is the latest & STOP CRYING - if you want BDtS - and I think its a great little add-on keep at it - EA support is quirky - some supervisors will swear your just SOL while others seem to know how to generate a code - do try the universal code in this thread - it worked for me when I had to move my installations to a larger drive earlier this week.

I got 2 responses in less than 12 hrs, thats how I managed to activate it, I do think its irresponsible though to not have a official DLC activation and keep up a page that says it does.

Yup. That's the one they've sent me too.

I thought my life was saved when I found this thread (not that it was hard to find, but I searched the Bioware sites for a page with a key at first).

Anyhow, that key didn't work for me, I've sent my own mail, looking forward to see if I get another key or just the same.

You have 2 send 1 or 2 tickets so they alter the registration cap for the global key.
