I'm just reinstalling this game after formating. I'm guessing i need to install bring down the sky before i install 1.02. What's 1.01a, I can skip that?

Install the Patch first. Patch 1.02 includes all the fixes that are in earlier patches, so you only need to install it.

Hi all.
Kepha, I'm in a similar situation to mynameisdanza. I bought my copy of ME1 from the EA Store and don't have a CD key.

I tried following your advice and opened up the Game tab in the Mass Effect Configuration Utility, but there is no key displayed there. All I have is:

Version Information

MassEffect.exe                     v1.00
MassEffectLauncher.exe    v1.01
MassEffectConfig.exe         v1.02
Uninstall Mass Effect.exe   v1.03

Any idea how I find out my product key please?

Edit: I've got it now after I installed patch 1.02. Sorry. I should have tried this before.

The page to find the installation key for Bring Down the Sky does not appear to be working for me. anyone else experiencing this?

They've Removed the "S" in https etc...  new link should be http://accounts.biow...mepc_cdkey.html

Could you poke one of the web monkies to fix the DLC link then?  Because right now it points to

Hello. First of all I want to say thank you for the links.

But I have run into a problem. I have registered an account here, so I don´t have an account at the old forums. When I try to use my EA account to sign up so I can get the key to install the DLC it says that "the name is already in use" so I cannot register. 

What should I do? Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a new problem:



I have a steam version of ME1, and had a crash recently so I had to re-install the game. However, when I tried to load a saved game, it said it was missing the "Bring Down the Sky" module.



Maybe I looked in the wron g places, but I couldn't find it in my backed-up files.



When I when to the page to download "Bring Down the Sky" again, it stopped downloading after I entered the CD-keys.



Any suggestions - where to look for the DLC in my files, for example - or should I get in touch with Customer Support?

I have nearly finished ME1 and would like to try "Bring down teh sky" and any other add ons or extra armors or whatever. BUT... The game is so old I cant find any legit links to these things any more. Does anyone know how to get some of these other add ons for the PC?

But: WHY does Bioware not make a button on the official ME1 page to link to this downloads? Why a user have to do this in the forum? Can't be SO hard to create a button ...
