Oh thank you so much for this. The launcher links don't work anymore and it's pretty much impossible to find the links anymore. This site really needs to get the original game onto this site properly like it does dragon age 1&2 and ME2.

All of those other games are "post-EA's acquisition of BioWare."  ME is not.  That's why it, (and NWN) remain a seperate set of boards.

Mine just keep cancelling the installation of BDtS after code was entered. I have no idea why.

Update: problems resolved. I simply reinstalled. Compatibility msg came up for patch 1.02 and I chose to have the program find the best way to reconcile the program. After that, BDtS slotted in without a hitch.

Got the very same thing, game accepted the cd-key but not the website. It sent me first to "Unable to verify CD Key as entered, please check key and try again" but now it just gives me an URL error.

I've got the very same problem, altough I bought the game from a local game store. Also I couldn't register it in EADM, but I managed to buy Pinnacle Station...It's pretty annoying, to say the least, I want to enjoy every part of the game with both dlc-s.

Never mind the EA support team fixed my problem. It turned out the cd key I had which let me download the game was not the same one needed to register for Bring Down the Sky DLC. They entered my account and fixed it for me. Thank you EA.

Just a quick question regarding this; has anyone managed to activate a steam version of ME1 using the cd key provided by steam in order to get the bring down the sky dlc?

The thing is, I've been trying to do that very thing and so far have had no luck

No, as you would have been able to tell from the ,ultiple threads people have made in regards to this. Its either an issue with Steam providing the incorrect code, or EA's servers have been flooded due to it being on sale for ultra cheap. Contact Steam and/or EA to get it resolved.

Downloads, old forum system and CD key page all seem to be out of commision at the mo. Might be from volume due to steam sale.

Contacted EA, they just told me to deal with BioWare...

But I haven't got any response from BioWare yet...
