I feel they should work on making the ME1 and ME2 romances as fully fleshed out as possible instead of adding any more.

I mean, the romances don't seem to develop much over the course of one game, you talk, and bang before the end. But ME3 is the end, any romances picked up in the third game will seem kinda shallow once you realize that it won't continue into the next game (seeing as there won't be one).

They should make your LI from the previous games play a much larger, more fleshed out role.

Kelly, Chakwas, Joker, Kal'Reegar, Hanar, Thresher Maw, Elcor, Donald Duck, and Conrad for LIs in Mass Effect 3.

But in all seriousness, I still want a Samara romance. I specifically didn't romance anyone in ME2 just so I can be horribly disapointed when she's not an LI in ME3.

I don't think we need more love interests, MAYBE one more for each sex but that's it. Hell, I don't even really want new characters but if we're going to get those anyway then I suppose it can't hurt to make a couple of them romanceable. I just hope BioWare spends time expanding on the existing romances too.



I do think a Joker romance would be very nice, though.

Oh, and I don't want Samara to be romanceable ever. It was nice seeing her sticking to her own values instead of jumping Shepard's bones like everyone else.



Also, who else noticed that Samara is the ONLY female squadmember in the series that you can't romance (I'm not counting ME1 Tali since she eventually became romanceable in ME2)?

...You know, it has occured to me that, aside from lack of a Krogan romance -- which I imagine there's a good reason for that...-- this would make for an awesome deviation from their normal conversations..it'd certainly add 'flavor' that's for certain.

What would be interesting is the potential rekindlement of the ME1 LI's in ME3 ... imagine if shep had to choose between the one chosen love in ME1 and the one chosen in ME2 if shep chose to stray from the 1st for the second.

Suffice it to say that I have... how shall I put this; 'unusual taste'?
For one thing, I've always liked pairing off characters that act as each other's foil. I of course blame this
entirely on my brother introducing me to Aeon Flux as a kid, but that is beside the point.

agree. rather than stir up entirely new characters for ME3 romances they need to simply "activate" previously unromanced characters that people already identify with.  gay romances for both Femshep & Maleshep would be much appreciated
