I have a recommandation but I won't make it. I notice a pattern my Shepard had... and well saying that we need that in the third game to keep the pattern alive will make me look like an ass. Even if.. it is mere coincidence that it is so... requesting it would be.. umm.. in bad taste :D

Wrex is a sexy beast, any Femshep would totally drop Garrus for that action. She does dig scars afterall.

Wrex. You dont even need to hype the "lol sex" part of it. Reminds me of my Shep the most, very noble and intelligent leader who isnt blinded by naivete and is more than capable of getting his hands dirty.

Look at what he is attempting to achieve...hes the only squad mate to have done anything worth doing outside of following Shepard. If Shepard is a character of destiny then so is Wrex. I think a Femshep and Wrex could find the bond of "love" but realise the physical aspects may simply be denied to them (unlikely considering who have sex with a raptor-ish alien, unknown Quarian or a hallucinative pretty toad).

Also I gotta say...

I bought that damn Bone Weave for a reason *bow chikka wow wow*.

Yeah...Wrex...I'd hit that.

But Garrus would still be my number one. Too bad Wrex has basically been booted from any role of real importance. He was my favorite in ME1 (him and Garrus) - by far the most intelligent of your comrades though.

You can't beat Wrex.

Kellykellykellykelly.

*sniggers at self*

Blasto?

*laughs at where that always ends up*

Seriously, just flesh out the current batch, including Kelly. And have Joker/EDI going in the background.

I wish ME3 to keep the ones we have from ME1 and ME2. Any more LIs and well, I'm just afraid they'll not flesh out the rest. Just as I don't think we should have so many new squadmates in the third game either. 9 different LIs should be enough to satisfy most people. (not saying all)

Yeah, there is really no way they are going to satisfactorily flesh out 9 romances anyway (unless they go against the trend of ME1 and ME2 being 30 hour games and basically double that for ME3).  Adding more would just make the situation worse than it alrady is.

I saw glimpses of ME3 romance in ME2

Such as Shiala, and Gianna. I finally got that damn beer. Samara would be a cool option as well.

But its more important that they end the existing Li's in the best way possible, and make each one have a unique ending.

Remember kids, sex == love.

Ha. I just realised that everyone but Wrex of the original squad is now a LI. Wrex for LI!

"Shepard."
"Wrex~ <3"
"...Shepard?"
"Wrex!"
"Shepard~"
"Oh, Wrex..."
"Shepard!"
"Wre-eh-eh-eh-eeeeeeeeeeex!"
"Ah...Shepard."
"Mm...Wrex..."

You know what... I think just adding the Joker/EDI romance, to the point where Joker actually DOES fall in love with the AI (and maybe even having the AI do the same, it is an intelligence proper after all) and actually watching that happen (maybe even some missions around it in ME3... getting EDI a 'respectable' i.e very lifelike downloadable 'body'?)

That'd be something different from the normal mission types anyway, and I think it'd be a very interesting course of action for ME3.

As for actual options, just stick with making the current romances Deep and Meaningful, maybe even as far as bonding/marriage etc (depending on the time frame the break between 2 and 3 covers)

With nine unique romances in the game plus the fling with Kelly plus the whole deal with Samara plus the NPCs that want Shepard I believe BioWare should simply continue the romances as is, allowing anyone to pick them up if they didn't in the first two games. As far as new romances, while I won't call them new, BioWare could open up more characters to same sex romances so that those interactions would be new.

I'd like to get Hendel Mitra on my team, the guy from the Ascension novel, he sounds cool and useful in combat, and good as a possible LI with an interesting backstory (from what I've read he's pretty damn good looking tooPosted Image)

This doesn't mean that with each new game there must come a set of new LI. There are plenty and I think it's enough. They should instead develop the romance further and not just resume it to "I like you. Let's have sex before final mission." and then get to their daily routine.

1. If you stay loyal to a ME1 romance you need a really great scene for staying faithful
2. If you have a ME1 and ME2 romance then their needs to be a great scene for that too, and it needs to be unique based on who is involved.
3. If you had flings, like with the Consort and Jack, their should be something mentioned about it.
4. Kelly's romance needs to be more indepth.
5. Gay romances, male/male and female/female. I mean Liara and female Shepard didn't really count because Asari have no real gender and in ME2 Kelly doesn't even have a romance scene so if you are a female Shepard it doesn't show it anyways

continue the current ones and not throw us some completely out of character lines to poorly sideline the relationships.

that is my dream LI.

I agree with the majority of people here that they shouldn't bring any new romances into the game. There is already plenty of LIs so it would be best to flesh out the ones we already have.. Possible marriage?

ME3 is "the end", the reapers are here!. No time for new romances!.

to quote Short Round
"This is no time for Love, Dr. Jones!"

But if they Did add one, and modified her Holographic Projector, I think EDI might be interesting as a love interest. Or do the whole Andromeda thing with her, and let her have an avatar she can remote for more interfacing options.

I'd prefer them to just stick with the old ones.

Just put some more flesh on the bones we already have, I say. And if there's going to be any sex, please, not an hour before Shep has to save the galaxy... it just seems desperate. Besides, as John Crichton would say, never before the big game.

And part of me wants a showdown between ME1 and ME2 love interests... I'm still fuming over that reception on Horizon... "You moved on Ash, so did I." arf arf arf ;)

Damn I wish bioware would make a villian as good as Scorpius.

And realistically shepard would fail his mission if he exhausted himself with sex before the end battle.

I want to be able to romance Miranda if I chose the "let's put this off for now and see what happens in the future" option.
