I cannot seem to decide for the life of me, between soldier or vanguard. So I would appreciate if I got some help on this one lol. thanks

Take Vanguard, but thats my biased Opinion as i never ever played Soldier. ^^ As a Soldier you are very dependant on your Ammo though, you dont really have many offensive Skills to fall back on o.o

Vanguard is going to be a complete frustration if it's first playthrough if you play through on anything higher than normal.

If you want to have all the weapons, which is a big help, go soldier. The slow-mo ability (Adrenaline Rush) is VERY helpful for Insanity playthroughs.



Vanguard gets the Charge ability, which allows you to essentially pinball around the battlefield. The only problem being is, this can lead to your death if you're not careful. It is a very strong class if played correctly, and a lot of fun.

Cause charge is very, very frustrating to use on higher difficulties, double so if you've never played the game before, and it's the skill that "makes" the vanguard class.

I agree vanguard at first can be somewhat frustrating. But if you choose and stick with it...it can be a fun class to play. My 1st play through was infiltrator, so I got frustrated because I played a new class.



If it'll help, watch a couple of vids on the net to see how any class could be played. I began to see how vanguard worked and the vids alone even made me have more fun w/the game.
