What the heck does "scrog" mean?

Honestly, I don't know what to say.

I'm laughing on the outside but dying a little on the inside...
The romance scenes can be sort of put into categories.
Miranda/Jacob: Really suggestive, both end up shirtless before the scene ends
Tali/Garrus: A little awkward because you've known each other awhile
Jack/Thane: Bitter sweet, both cry during their scene, both let down their guard
Based on Tali's personality her scene was appropriate.
She's young, somewhat innocent at times, and a virgin. She's going to be nervous and the dialog matched
her personality really well.
All the romance scenes matched the character's personality.
If you want hot, passionate, loving romance scenes then romance Miranda.

They were awkward because you'd known each other for awhile, but also the different species thing was brought up. More so in the Garrus romance than in Tali's, but Tali did mention having to do research to figure out how this would work and such.

I keep seeing people say things like this, but then it never really happens. Tali fans mostly seem to stay in their Tali mega-thread.

Why would you think they'd do that?  I'm a fan of Tali's (although admittedly not as rabid or obsessive as some), and I kind of agree.  I disagree in that I don't find her nervousness irritating -- on the contrary I find it endearing.

However, I do agree that the actual physical contact part is far too short.  Miranda's and Jack's both have some real passion, and they're much longer scenes with more creative editing.  Tali got precious little of that, which I really find rather disappointing.  I'm not looking for Quarian sideboob here (not that I'd object), but the other LI's got a lot of that petting and touching, with the close-up camera work.  Tali really kinda got shafted in that regard.

What in the Hell is wrong with her?  She was talking about how she wanted to feel her skin against mine(popped a chode there I'll admit) and then she's like
"duhhh...I'm going to blab like an idiot" once she's in my cabin. 

Then once Tali shuts her stupid piehole we see about 1/2 second of physical contact...the end.

For those who have yet to scrog any of the female players.  Scrog Jack or Miranda.  Forget Tali.  The novelty isn't worth it.

You do realize that there ARE women out there that get that nervous...Especially if they are in a situation like that and around a guy they really like.  I've met a few in my time but case in point is that its silly to assume all women are as confident as Miranda or Jack.

I won't lie, I was highly disappointed and expected something on par with ME1's scenes which were much longer and not only had better romance, but better conversation build up. This romance felt very lame with the basic "yes or no" dialog beforehand.

She's never been out of her environmental suit with anybody. That's what was wrong with her. She'd never even synched suits. So it was far and away the most intimate thing she'd ever done. Remembering my own 'first time', such as it was, lo those many decades ago, I can relate to the awkwardness.
