1. It's a video game.
2. These scenes should not be used as a substitute for pornography.
3. It's not about the sex scene. It's about how people can become attached to one another, as in the case of Tali and Shepard. It's like reading a romance book. You are not reading it for the sex scene, you are reading it because you want to see how two characters interact with one another when they are in love.

Meh, I dislike the Tali romance as much as the next guy, I mean I strongly believe her and Garrus' characters would have benefited a whole lot more from remaining unromanceble. But that scene did fit with her character, which is clueless to how romance actually works.

I must've missed this part.  I figured she and Kal Reeger did some scrogging back in the day.  Even so, her strange behaviour was uncalled for, virgin or no.

Anyway, Tali clearly says that she hasn't trusted anyone enough to link suit environments with, "except for... well, no Quarians" (by which she obviously means Shepard). If she hasn't linked her suit environments with anyone, she obviously hasn't been able to engage in any kind of physical relationship.

Sorry you find it annoying.  You may think I'm trying to be obnoxious but truth is the word scrog is common slang where I live so it's a bit of a habbit.  
I get that Tali is a virgin but still, her behaviour was way too akward.  I can understand being a bit shy, that would've been cute but Tali just came across as a raging idiot.

Only in Mass Effect.  Not aware of any other games where you can scrog with aliens.  Wish Mission Vao were scroggable.  That would've been AWESOME!

Umm... yes?

Well in any case, I hated that scene.  If a girl were to show a deep interest in me the way Tali wanted to scrog my Shepard and then she came up to my room and started blabbing non stop and then elaborating abouw how it's a defense mechanism I would be like

"yeah...maybe you should leave and I'll just read my copy of Fornax."

This type of attitude toward women will get you far....NOT.   If you truly cared about her or another women then you would be more supportive and try to make her as comfortable as possible.  With Tali it is quite different in the fact that she is a virgin who is thinking of being intimate with an alien and in doing so could make her very sick.  Even considering that she is still willing so if that makes her "non stop babble" just means she is scared.
