Well if sex didn't happen that pretty much would render the whole purpose of the relationship obsolete now wouldn't it?  Tali may get her jollies off by feeling my skin and sounding stupid constantly but my Shepard is a flesh and blood man with needs.  If Tali can't learn to satiate me, then she's worthless.  Give me Jack or Miranda any day of the week.

So… you want a sex slave?… interesting.

Interesting interpretation.  No.  I think satiety should go both ways.  Tali can't deliver so she's worthless.

What? She is worthless because she rambled and 'did not deliver'. Oh my....

That's exactly what she did. She delivered just fine. Just took it a little bit longer than others. Like, 20 seconds longer. Then she jumped on him just fine.

Tali rocks.

Miranda wasn't cocky, she was confident.  She, like Tali wanted Shepard's ass.  While Tali babbled incoherently about "natural defense mechanisms"(great bedroom talk there Tali you clutz), Miranda just took it.

Thats why I like Miranda, she wanted to scrog, so we scrogged.  No complications.

Only strange thing about Miranda is why in the Hell did she want to scrog in the engine room?  What is wrong with the bed?  Wouldn't the hard metal floor be a bit uncomfortable?

Tali didn't want Shepard for his ass, she wanted to be with him for himself. As in, not necessarily sex, but a relationship. The only reason she was looking towards sex - and we don't even know if they actually HAD sex, they may have just rubbed against each other a bit - was because she wanted their relationship to be real not outside the suit type of relationship, and also because they're about to go and die, or at least that's what it seemed like at the time.

That separates her from Miranda greatly, and the reason she was babbling was because she was shy in front of Shepard because she actually loved him and she's the kind of person who's a little more nervous about what they make themselves look like in front of someone they're in love with.

You must've missed the part when she said "I want to feel your skin against mine".

It's clear she wanted to scrog him.  What do you think she did?  Got naked and just gave him a Dutch scrog?  Not likely.  Of course I wouldn't be surprised if Shepard just got tired of how damn annoying Tali was and just kicked her out and read Fornax instead.
That is what I would've done.

She didn't mean it in the way that she wanted to have sex with him. She doesn't NEED to have sex with him in order to feel his skin. You can't make assumptions like that. It's possible, but it might have never happened. Feeling her skin against Shepard is not feeling Shepard's unit in hers. Also, she describes how most Quarian-interspecies relationships aren't "real" and take place outside the suit. She didn't like that because it basically renders a relationship bare. By taking off her helmet/suit with Shepard it shows how she truly loves him she's ready to do that for him.

Sex is possible, but again it might not have happened. If it did, why are you so annoyed by how she's babbling? Most people, including myself, find it cute, not annoying. Besides, after 30 seconds she jumped on Shepard like the horniest Quarian in the galaxy.

This has got to be one of the stupidest things I have ever read.

Tell me truthfully, do you think you're impressing us with you're "manliness"?

Because in reality you're just coming across as a complete sociopathic moron.

Are you stupid? Sex is not part of a relationship, you can have a relationship without sex.
This clearly tells everyone what kind of person you are in real life in terms of those things, although that's not our business.

Also, since you're so concerned by what she means by "defence mechanism", the "mechanism" is defending her against her own fear of embarrasing herself in front of Shepard. The "mechanism", however, which is what she calls it, in term makes her feel like she's embarrasing herself even more. Shepard doesn't mind and knows that she's just worried, and all it takes is for him to take off her helmet and then she's ok.

Is it really that hard to comprehend?

Oh so she was defending herself in fear of looking like a clutz?  I'd say she failed pretty badly.  She not only failed but she also totally destroyed the mood which was being built up and turned the scene into a total let down.

i think the clutziness is what makes her cute
it's all just a matter of personal preference, i don't see what the whole argument is about.  some people don't like the awkwardness, other people do. i think we can just leave it at that instead of trying to impress our personal opinions on other people.

The girl has absolutely no confidence.  What kind of man would want a girl who is so insecure?  Miranda is a woman for real men because she takes what she wants.

So the OP is mad that a virtual female character in a video game didn't deliver enough graphically and/or sexually.

You do realise how pathetic that sounds right? Time to go out and meet women ( Although with that philosophy I can understand why it hasn't been very succesfull).

Tali has been harbouring a crush on Shepard for 2 years. It is her first time too. Here he is, stud muffin of the universe. She never considered you would be interested in her and she is nervous. She wanted the moment to be perfect and romantic.

Some of you people really disturb me. It one thing to be like 'oh I really like her personallity' I can understand that, I do to, I think she is one of the better written charicters. Buy seriously, I don't think bioware made the scene so that you could "stand to attention" that's kinda odd.

Also, why does everyone think they boinked, if my understanding of the lore is correct, that probably would have cause one of them to go into anaphalactic shock, not to mention the whole immune system thing with tali.

I think it was simply supposed to be an emotionally engaging scene, tali had a right to be nervous, that was the first time she had ever taken her mask off, and it could have killed her. Also, she says it's hard to describe what im feeling because of the mask, so I have to talk alot.

At that point I was like 'try transparent glass u dumb ****'

Not your kind, apparently.
You seem to be too ignorant to think that people can be very different. Some people like the person they are having sex with to **** in their mouth. Do you like that? No. Do they like that? Yes. And if you don't like it, doesnt mean that they shouldn't.

Some people like girls like that.
That said, she is only so "insecure" when she's about to show someone her face for the first time. She has never shown her face to anyone before. Don't you think that'd make someone a little nervous? You're limiting your posts to your perspective and yours only. You don't look at what other people might prefer and how she might feel in that situation.

Instead Tali just looked like an idiot.  Why was she acting that way?  Was she a virgin?

Umm... yes?

Well in any case, I hated that scene.  If a girl were to show a deep interest in me the way Tali wanted to scrog my Shepard and then she came up to my room and started blabbing non stop and then elaborating abouw how it's a defense mechanism I would be like

"yeah...maybe you should leave and I'll just read my copy of Fornax."

This type of attitude toward women will get you far....NOT.   If you truly cared about her or another women then you would be more supportive and try to make her as comfortable as possible.  With Tali it is quite different in the fact that she is a virgin who is thinking of being intimate with an alien and in doing so could make her very sick.  Even considering that she is still willing so if that makes her "non stop babble" just means she is scared.

Why are  you reasoning with someone who makes a thread solely for a purpose  to use  word "scrog"?

A good question but I felt the need to share my views on the subject.  Who knows maybe the OP truly doesn't understand what is going on in that scene.

I understand that Tali is coming across as a complete idiot. If a woman wants me, I expect her to not play like such a shy idiot and just let me assume control over her.

The whole "sweet and innocent" thing Tali was playing can be cute but she took it way too far. There is a difference between sweet and innocent and overly talkative and obnoxious.
