The biggest difference is that you inherit the choices you've made. Probably the first ones that you really see are the choices you made right at the end of Origins, so who's on the throne, and those sorts of things. But there are a lot of subtle things as well, which aren't in your face, and aren't meant as a sort of a tick in a checkbox like "Ah hah! We remembered this!" Rather, they're there to kind of give you a feeling, "Oh yeah, I remember making this choice. I remember this character." You know, the cameos of the party members is one way to do it. But there are also some other notable NPCs that come back that were not party members, but you clearly remember them. And in some cases you love them or you love to hate them, but they're a nice throwback to the original game.


Yep, yep. It's a pretty central part of feeling emotionally connected to the expansion. I agree.
