I noticed a post a few parts down about people not being to edit squads.

Use gibs.

I did not create the software. Backup Saves first.

http://mod.gib.me/ma...eedit_rev23.zip

To change a squads skill go
2. Squad> Henchmen (Click ... box)

Select the name of the squad you wish to change i.e Grunt is Grunt, Veteran is Zaeed.
Click powers and click ... box

Now there's a list of all the relevant skills.
To change a non-evolved skill simply select the name of the skill i.e ConcussiveShotInstant (This is Concussive Shot if you hadn't guessed.) and change the box named Current rank to the level you want so rank 1 or 3.

To give skill points go back to Henchman Collection editor, select the Henchman and select the box named
Talent points and change the number to the amount you want.

(Note: Unsure if simply changing the current rank to 4 will bug the save since you are not present to select the evolved skill option in game, better to skill to rank 3 and add the last 4 points.)

If the skill is rank 4/evolved and your wanting to reset it  you must remove the skill named Evolved.
This is an example of Zaeed having Heavy Concussive shot and you're wanting to change it to Concussive Blast
If you have maxed out the skill you will see it in the power section in a name starting with evolved.

EvolvedConcussiveShotInstant_Heavy.
EvolvedConcussiveShotInstant_Radius.
Heavy Is Heavy and Radius is Concussive Blast.

Regardless remove that skill entirely otherwise when you go the replace the skill points the game will see the old one as the evolved one and you won't have the choice to change.
Then do the same steps as leveling an un-evolved skill and you will now have the choice to reset to which skill bonus you want.

I do know it's possible to change the evolved skill to the one you want by changing the name but my guess is this way has less chance of bugs and easier.

Regards.

Does this allow you to change a squad member's skills entirely (ex. exchange Thane's Shredder Ammo for Incinerate or something)? Or give some additional squad members the same passive as Miranda (squad damage/health+)?

I think you may have said "yes" to this question above but I don't quite follow so I'm asking again. Forgive me.

This is for if you want to reset the squads skills but in what i've said there I think it is possible to swap the skills though i've never tried.

If you want to swap out a squad power you would have to add a blank skill box, enter the name of the skill with the corrent name line i.e

SFXGameContentDLC.SFXPower_ConcussiveShot_Zaeed

SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_Incinerate_Mordin

But i'm unsure if this works or you have to remove a pre existing skill etc as I have not tried this myself.

There is a newer version of the save editor here: www.masseffect2faces.com/index.php
Also if you want to respec squad mates I believe all you have to do in this version is press one button under the toolbox tab.

convenient, but it seems if you are level 30 they lose points when you reset.

at level 30, jacob & miranda should have 31 total points following their loyalty quests (jacob & miranda each start with 1 point in 2 different skills, plus 28 gained while leveling and 1 point from loyalty quests totals 31), while everyone else will have 30, but resetting with this tool with Jack & Miranda in my squad brought both of them down to 27 points each

Yes, I see this problem to... have another
way to reset the squad points without losing points?

I started a Thread regarding the Squad Point Problem http://social.biowar...68675/3#1446309 would be cool if you would post your opinion there and bump the thread so hopefully bioware will take care of the issue.
