My hard drive ws failing so I installed a new one but had backed up all my DA content including saved games and profiles.  Once everything was reinstalled, the game starts fine and all my saved games are there but it says my downloadable content is unauthorized.  When I try to load one of my old saved games, I get a message saying they contain premium content and that I must log on as the authorized owner to access those saved games.  I logged on but still get the smae message.  Now I can't use ANY of my saved games and may have to start over with a new game.  I was only at Level 10 but have a lot of time invested and hate to start over.  has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

See section 5 of the Dragon Age PC DLC In-Game Errors FAQ for help with the unauthorized content issue. In particular if you've moved your Dragon Age installation path, Windows may still be looking for the Dragon Age Origins Content Update service is the old location.

ya me too i put the codes in and i can see the armor and shale in my promo codes but they have --- in the download section and it wont let me download them?!?!?!?

I am haveing the same problem but i had already downloaded the Shale when i first got the game and then today i went to redeem the Blood Dragon armor and it just has --- i cant download any for DAO only Mass effect 2 Blood Dragon armor.

and on the back of the game case it says i have until the 30th of April to redeem them!!!!!!

start up DAO and click on downloadable content (making sure you're logged in) and it should show up

I recently purchased a new computer and reinstalled DAO;however, the Shale DLC is not an option for download anymore, even though I bought the game with it "free" as contect >.> Anything?

Are you logged into the game with the account you used to redeem Shale with? Your query would have been better posted in PC Tech Support, as there's "specialised" help there for your situation, including a few stickied topics relating to DLC issues.

how the hell do i download the blood armour and shale . . . . . they are at downloadeble content under available content but not downloading !!! when i say purtuce it says i already have it (cuz i used mu promo codes ,,,but they wont download)



the other day rhey were under downdoading but woud not download >>>

Bioware, is there any way you could simply make downloadable content easier to use? I am trying to play one of my saves on Dragon Age Origins for XBOX and I get the message that the Blood Dragon Armor is not present. I'm scouring the downloads area to try to re-download it to make the game happy, but I can't even find it to attempt to do that.



You have a whole lot of legitimate users locked out of your game because the game is way to paranoid about authorizing content. You want us to continue downloading conent and paying for it? How about making your servers a little less paranoid about DLC. The bottom line is: If I can't play my game due to lockout issues then I definitely won't pay for and download more content. I'm a big fan here, and I hate to have to spread the word that your games are DLC unfriendly - impossible to play once you've made the "mistake" of downloading extra content.

I hardly think that is related to Bioware being "paranoid" or "locking users out" -- it is simply a limited offer, and not available anymore.

No, it's not limited. I bought a brand new copy and downloaded it last night (in fact, devs have stated in other threads that it's not limited, but orginally was to be so.  They had already printed all the cards and boxes when they changed their mind, so didn't want to waste money reprinting all the cards and boxes). If for some reason it isn't showing up in your game's download screen, then go to your profile on this site, click "Profile ---> Your Registered Game Promotions"  and you should see a list of all Bioware codes you've entered for DA and Mass Effect 2 with download links if your code was PC version.  If the Blood Dragon Armor isn't listed and you know it should be, then you'll have to email EA to check your account.

If you are a Xbox 360 player, then you can find it here if you don't see it in the dashboard for some reason.  If you are not authorized to download it, the site will tell you so.

I don't know how PS3's network works, so I can't give you a direct link to it.

Yes.   All versions you should be able to purchase "The Stone Prisoner" via the in-game Downloadable Content menu.  It's $15.

well i bought the game about 1 week or 2 ago and i could insert the code ON THE SITE and i cant download it here is the weard thing on my laggy computer i can download the blood armor and shale anyone got a solution?

You have to download Shale in-game, not from this website.

Did you log in to your account in-game? It has to be the account you registered Dragon Age (And redeemed Shale's code) with.

I am having the problem with the Dragon Armor for DAO. When I click reedem code on the downloadable content page it takes me to this website and I typed in the code and it takes me to the page where it should be downloadable from and just has ---.
