Ok this will sounds radical
I have played through this game for 3 times, twice on insane, and this one is so less than the ME that i knew and love
ME 2 has a damn linear story line, and there are no customizations whatsoever, only one-way upgrading and changing-socks for both weapons and armors, i miss from the first one where u could put in heat sinks and buy different ammos for your weapons
character and powers customizations gets stale quickly, there are limited powers for characters, a level 30 cap
Epicness has been scale down dramatically, main storyline lacks actions and awe, the characters are unengaging and even useless, character side missions have no points of accomplishments or much choices, after some playthroughs, i feel that they are just pretty much the same thing i been playing for the last week or two.
Combat is dull and not intense, even downright boring, unlike the reviews said. Teammates are useless. Lots of times, i have to put my teammates in some corner way back, because they are burdens in combat. An assault rifle or smg or shotgun and cain works well enough
extremely repetitive minings, and i feel that they only trying to squeeze more game time out of ME2's limited customization system.
Normal side missions, again, has no point of completing, and does not have much choice, only brings the same thing each playthrough
areas are limited, there arent "A huge universe to explore, hidden enemies and treasures" like the back of the box says. There are a few bits of planet here and there, only 3 functional markets, no trading, only sellings like 5 things, then nothing more comes up
i hope this is just a story patch to fill up from ME to ME3, i just cross fingers for ME3, because i love ME1 and the ME universe and storyline, but ME2 just f*** it up
ever buying a one-way boat ticket from San Francisco to China? I think i just did during the last few weeks
I'm reselling the game to gamestop while it still has some values for some people
please improve ME3, i beg you Bioware
