The last post under this name was by my husband...I do not necessarily agree with his views. We both agree that Loghain is a scumball and that is about where the agreement ends. Although he is playing an elf now and is going to put Alistair on the throne in that game.....interesting; he decided that after he read what you said about A. Maybe he is coming around a bit.
The other reason for this post is....I love the accent! Where is Steve Valentine from? What country is that accent from? I thought it was English at first but when you hear him say certain words it doesn't sound like any dialect of English I recognized.

late in my first playthrough as an elven mage and Alistair's lover, I WANTED TO KILL THE BASTARD!!!!
after I healed his wounds, listened to his whining and made him king - he dumped me. oh, the shame.
so, I took off all his armor and marched him through the streets of Denerim and tried to freeze, burn, deathspell his ass.
to no avail. so, I used my most powerful magic: "Load Game" and killed Logain again (always a fun time) and listened to Prince Passive Aggressiva again - this time armed with magic words from the forums, and we lived happily ever after - with him as king and me me chancellor and lover.
had I not hardened him (I didn't even know what that was) I would have been through with Dragon Age because he never would have changed his mind and my 100+ hours would have been just NWN2 with sex.
2d playthrough I was armed with knowledge and a strategy guide and became his queen.
there are times when he's worth killing, so if he seems unworthy, let him go. but, be warned. his little eyebrows will knit together and his lopsided smille will make you all spinny-headed and you'll wonder what ever made you angry, and you too will cast "Load Game."
Steve V is a Scot, so you've got that lovely Brit plushiness with the youthful modern lack of crisp "Ts" and just a li'l bi'a celtic sexiness. *grin*

I'm looking forward to the 3 music vids.
I wondered why he said 'sawr' instead of 'saw' and 'idear' instead of 'idea'. Scottish, eh? Explains a lot. And his voice is sexy. And his speech is so cute.
I wonder if that is what happens if you harden him.....never got that before. He told me I was probably right, he needs to look out for himself more and think for himself more often. Would that be what I'm looking for?

ah well....that "r" is just UK dialect. like the US dropping the "g" in singing.
hardening doesn't make him sexier - what could? just the look out for yourself thing. makes him a bit more sophisticated in his choices. (essential in some cases)
